Godinger Iced Beverage Dispenser, Dublin Crystal Collection - 1 Gallon

I'm crazy about glass and crystal ware so when this popped up on Amazon, I was smitten immediately! Also, I've been wanting a beverage dispenser for ages, always looking at them online and in stores. So many styles to choose from, but I knew I wanted something glass, not plastic, and something a little sophisticated, not rustic, and then this popped up. Instantly I knew this was the beverage dispenser I'd been looking for and the price isn't bad at all for the quality and the beauty. It holds a gallon, which is fine for a small gathering. My house was built in 1895 and isn't fancy, but it has that old-time charm which goes well with these beautiful crystal pieces. I also have a few pieces of crystal my mother carefully curated over the years and their patterns all match nicely.The best part about Godinger is that they have several other items in the Dublin collection and I definitely visited their Amazon store and looked at all their offerings and am excited to be able to add to my collection over time. The look is absolutely stunning and fancy... and fun. Can't wait for my family to gather this weekend to celebrate Christmas when I'll serve our Southern sweet tea from this.I also ordered the Dublin cutlery display and napkin holder to create a "wow" factor on the buffet. So much beauty and so much to love!

Great quality. Heavy! Does have tendency to clog at spout.

The item I purchased was a large, crystal dispenser to be given for a special Birthday. It was not mailed to me, but directly to the recipient. They reported it was wrapped very well, and came in perfect condition. So I thank the sender very much for taking the care it required when considering how to protect it from any damage via shipping. Wait for two month for my order. Turn out to be an one with damaged box and leaking from spout... Poor quality

First saw this at an upscale bar in Kansas city. Looked it up on Amazon and asked a waiter if it was the same thing. He said yes, exactly the same and they work great. I ordered one and used it for Thanksgiving. Filled with ice water, added frozen cranberries and sliced lemons. Looked fancy, didn’t leak, and was easy to clean. 100% recommend!

This is an upgrade to the dispenser I had. I paid more this time, but worth the extra and so far works well.

This is the most beautiful beverage dispenser I’ve ever used, but it does have some downsides. First, this thing is gorgeous and statuesque. For pure class and visual appeal this dispenser is hard to beat. It glistens. It sparkles. Yes! But with all that beauty there are some things you need to know. 1) Large Size. Not in terms of capacity but it is tall and slender and has a tall pointed lid. And while you can flip the lid for storage, it comes in a large box and takes a lot of space in storage. 2) Tall with narrow base. While I don’t think it would tip over it *feels* like it might tip. I would only use this on a VERY sturdy surface. 3) Heavy All Glass. I don’t know how much this weighs but it is very heavy to lift, move, and set up, especially when full. 4) Difficult to clean. Too big to fit in your kitchen sink or dishwasher so it must be cleaned by hand. 5) A bit intimidating. I know this sounds weird, but I’ve found guests can be hesitant to use it. I think it just seems very delicate and maybe a bit tippy. Just be sure you weigh the pluses and potential minuses or such a grand piece.
