Why I'm returning it
The first one I received was broken which isn't the manufacturer's fault. The second one I received works okay BUT, the design needs to be improved. The glass lid became loose after 2 uses. It falls when you're pouring the coffee in the cup. I'd say overall it's thumbs down. Gonna get the regular moka pot (all metal). The reason why I bought this is because I wanted to see when the coffee was done making.

Arrived Cracked *UPDATE*
I was so bummed out when this little beauty arrived cracked. It is gorgeous, but unfortunately I can't use it. I have ordered a replacement and will update this review if/when I actually make some coffee.*Update* I have since received my replacement and it is quite lovely. It is easy to use and the glass top makes for a beautiful morning ritual of watching the coffee bubble up the inner column. I am happy with purchase so I am changing my 1 star rating to 5 stars.

Glass breaks.
The lid fit was extremely looose. After a few weeks sure enough it fell into the sink and broke. UPDATE. I’m grateful to Geesta for having sent me a new espresso pot without my asking. This is grate customer service and awareness. Ill be making more delicious coffee now and once again watching it percolate to its completion. Thanks,Geesta.

awesome coffee maker
I really like this coffee pot. I have a few different kinds of coffee makers (Electric drip, stove top peculator, and a french press) and added this because sometimes I like a Turkish style/espresso type coffee. To be clear, this is NOT an espresso maker, but I use LaVazza Italian coffee with it (classico or espresso) and it makes a really nice cup of high test, strong coffee. It makes about one small/regular sized cup, but it's probably about 3 of those small demitasse cups espresso is usually served in if you want that instead.

what a pain
First off, the 6-cup description should very clearly specify little espresso cups. After looking at the pot and the details in the booklet, it's clear that a cup is 50mL which is TINY. This will brew one mug of regular coffee. As for the actual pot... the filter that holds the coffee was VERY difficult to remove, I needed to get a skinny knife to pop it out. Water spewed out between the parts when it started boiling. The lid sits on top, so you need to remove that before pouring. I tried it once and decided it's not worth the hassle for how cute it looks, I'm definitely returning it.I can see this as being an awesome purchase if you brew strong espresso every once in a while for a dinner party, since the glass looks really nice. For every day coffee use though, it would be a headache.

Strong smell with the soft lining on the inside.
There's a strong toxic smell coming from the rubber or silicone lining that I couldn't get rid of. I washed it and tried to air it out. I don't feel safe drinking coffee from this. And there's no information on what the material it is made out of.However I do love the glass concept and being able to see the coffee brew. I wish there wasn't a smell. It would have been a keeper.

easy to use
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it just makes regular american coffee and not espresso. Nevertheless, it's still a good product.

Great pot but be patient!
I love my new pot as it makes great espresso. Be sure to follow the directions though and run the coffee/water through a couple of times before you make your first official pot. The first two times -- it didn't fill all the way. Now, it's fine. Also - it's not that speedy - so be patient with the speed it completes - but it's worth it. Great taste.
