Walker's Shortbread Glenfiddich Holiday Mincemeat Tarts, Luxury Holiday Treat, 13.1 Oz (Pack of 2)

We always had mincemeat pies for the holidays. The crust on these is perfect. I don't really taste any Glenfiddich in them, but the taste is perfect mincemeat. The individual tortes are larger than some others I have had. I really like that.

A couple were a bit broken but it didn't affect the taste. I love these things heated & covered in cream. I'm glad they are seasonal or I would gain a lot of weight.

Excellent product

I bought these as a treat for myself, and walkers is always fantastically high quality. the essence of Glenfiddich in it was very tasteful as someone who does not like alcohol, and the crust was fantastic. the mince had a rich spice blend that was not too sweet and not overpowering, the only complaint that I had was due to the traditional nature of the mince there appear to be some occasional tiny pieces of grape seeds inside, causing hard crunchiness that is 100% tolerable but was not something I expected upon biting into the pie. I will definitely be ordering these again

I had never tried Walker's Shortbread Glenfiddich Holiday Mince pies before today. It is next to impossible to find a mince pie in any store. They arrived perfect. No broken pies. They were flavorful and fresh. They tasted just like Christmas.

I had previously purchased the Walkers brand mincemeat Tarts and they were absolutely delicious. I decided to give these a try and I'm so regretful that I did. Now I am stuck with two boxes of horrible tasting tarts. They arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to open them and eat one. It was disgusting! First of all they are far too sweet. The amount of sugar overwhelms the flavor of the fruits that are used in the filling. It's so sugary I just couldn't eat it and I have quite a sweet tooth so that says something. Additionally I did not like the crust it was too thick and dry. If you're looking for a really good mincemeat pie or tart I suggest you do not buy this brand but take a look at the Walkers brand especially the ones that are flavored with orange and mince meat. Those are delicious. This brand however is really horrible and I do not recommend it to anyone. I guess I'll be giving Tarts to homeless people on the street to get rid of them

I usually love these, but my first taste the fruit tasted a little "musty". I could not see a sell by date on them so wondered how old they are. I will try a second one and see how it goes.

Amazing
