The qf is a quiet fan. This is a standard fan.

Q: How long is the plastic tube at the back of the fan, which runs into the extractor duct.?

No idea sorry as it’s in the wall !

Q: Does this have a backdraft shutter and could it directly replace a QF100T

It would be the same size so should be straight swap although the Q stands for quiet so that model would be less noise producing

Q: Does this work on a light switch?

This product needs a neutral as well as a permanent live and switch line. Depending on your wiring it might need to come from a light point. Also, it should go through a fan isolator which should outside the room if a bathroom.
