This item works very well. It's easy to use when spray painting doors. As long as you have two doors.

I used these to paint 18 doors with some success. Below are the pros and cons.Pros. Works well especially when both top and bottom hinges are used. Simple to use while painting. Very affordable.Cons. Takes 2 to setup in most scenarios. If hinges don't matchup it can be less effective/more potential for failure. If you need to move the doors (i.e. back into garage after painting to dry), it is a challenge, doable but lots of opportunities for smudges in transit.Overall good value but if you are doing many doors the triangle type or similar kits are better but more expensive.

We are helping our daughter build a house, and used these to paint all of the doors at once. We had 16 doors to paint, and it was great to be able to stand them up and spray them all at once. They saved us so much time and the doors turned out great! Would definitely recommend.

1. You really need 2 people to set up. Not a huge issue.2. The holders only seem to work perfectly if the doors open opposite each other-that places the hinges in the correct position. I had 2 doors to paint- both are left hand opening doors. In order to line up the hinge holder for the pins and the little support arm bar that rests on the hinge plate, I had to flip over one of the doors so the hinges pointing the same way in the holder. Because the one door was flipped, it didn’t sit perfectly and the arm piece was touching the door itself. Maybe it was just us, but No matter what we did, we couldn’t seem to figure out how to attach the doors both right side up when they open the same direction. When attaching doors that open in opposite handeness- works as advertised.

I was skeptical but they really work! I wanted to spray 8 solid wood doors at once. They are sturdy, no weeble wobble. Perfect.

I was very hopeful that this product would make my project easier. It made it harder.1. This cannot be done with one person, unless you have 4 arms. In which case it is possible.2. It is confusing and not intuitive to setup. Struggling with doors whilst attempting to affix this contraption with the hinge pins is much like dancing the tango with a giraffe. Impossible.3. They say that they are designed to let the paint get by, this is false.4. I would consider this a complete waste of money.Do your self a favor and go by some hooks from your local hardware store, mine were $1.52 a piece. Hang them from rafters of your garage. Done

Great price, easy to use, but I still like to lay my doors flat
