Essential home help
I bought this because I keep losing cutlery down the back of the oven. It retrieved two very heavy knives and a plastic-handled spoon. It has also been useful for checking whether I have dropped any pins while doing sewing projects. I can't think how I managed without a 'magnet on a stick' for so long.

Quality product
Delivered on time. Quite expensive for what it is, but is good quality. I’ve bought other brands and the telescopic pole is very flimsy but this is sturdy. I work in a hospital and use this for turning off buzzers behind beds. Comes in very handy and saves my back!

This has many uses,I would not be without out.
This tool saved the day for me. Lost my house key, dropped between car seat. My new pick up magnet saved me! I kept it in the car, I supposethrough fear.

Not as strong as I thought it would be
Not a bad product for retriving small items but was hope the magnet would be stronger. Still useful though as it replaces another smaller telescopic reteiver.

Great item for the price
Very handy little tool. Originally purchased to test metal but have since used it to hold screws that are too small to hold and then screw. Also for collecting bits that had dropped to the floor under a cupboard.

This item broke upon first usage!
I had tested this out on day 1 - the magnet was pretty strong and I thought it would be a good addition to my shooting bag for the purposes of picking up shotgun cartridges.First day out shooting with it, I had somewhat littered the floor with cartridges and stood in front of my friends, pulled the magnet out of my pocket extended it fully and sent the magnet down to pick up the cartridges. The magnet stayed down on the floor with the cartridges and the extending pole fell apart. It was wet and muddy and there were bits out of the telescopic part that flew off - so much so I couldn't find them to try and put back together. I had to throw the item away there and then.
