It does the job but...
The product itself is fine for the most part: you can back probe a connector/harness and measure voltage. The back probes are equipped with an alligator clamp which let you clip your DVOM probes to it. Now there are a few things I'm not extremely satisfied about:* The price: $25 for a few back probes...that's excessive, On top of that (see next bullet)* The back probes don't come with that little transparent box they show you on the picture...now that's very deceiving! All my back probes are 'running free' in my tool box...so now I have to spend more money to buy a small box to put them. For $25 they could have thrown a little transparent box like they show on the picture!* The back probes are a little short. It's working fine for me so far, but I can think of situations where a longer probe could be useful. So the point is: it's a good product to have when you troubleshoot your car by yourself; quite frankly though I would save the money and make my own back probes with some alligator clamps (they're cheap) and paper clips.

Too short for many connectors
These are almost a novelty item as the probe is too short to work with connector types unless the insulating boot is removed to reduce the overall diameter. Thexton does .ale an extended version that works very well.

Functional
I use these for back probing in tight spaces when longer probes will not work. The package in the picture is not the same as what you get. Would be nice if they were in compartments but for the price I can't complain. The sheath for the aligator clips slide off very easily and are simple enough to put back on. All-in-all a good product
