Good drive - The drive does what it says, tested speeds are as advertised. If you are looking for fast boot times, this drive does not do that. It's not designed to. It's designed to improve OS performance. I can verify it has improved load times of Star Citizen drastically. What used to take 2-3 minutes now takes 20-30 seconds. The Drive cannot be bound to hardware Raid via BIOS although it does not matter which setting you have in the BIOS. Only use this drive in PCIe x16 3.0 slots to take full advantage of it's max performance capability.Advice: Remember when it comes to raw transfer speeds; Large files will always transfer faster than many small files.

Product was shipped on time, seller was great. I will buy from seller again in a blink of an eye.The ssd on the other hand was a piece of s***......Takes too long to boot.Will only work with certain motherboards.I have a Gigabyte z97x G1 Gaming Wifi/Bk and it chrashes non stop. I I even tried it with my Asus motherboard and an Asrock one. It only works with the cheap Asrock.Make sure you know someone who has one and try it out in your com before you buy it.

The LSI driver is slow for many motherboards to read during POST. SO your boot times will be fairly slow.That being said, these drives are FAST AS %$#@!!!!!!!!!!!! Best drives on the market at the moment (pre NVME)It's as fast as the old DDR-SDRAM iDrive's, but in large format & doesnt require 24/7 power + battery backup.2.1gb/s read1.9gb/s write100,000k IOPSI run two in software RAID-0 & OS installed to an 800mb/s m2 SSD. Speed when working with many files or moving large files is insane.Made in USA.Mushkin has been around a long time.

We ordered the Mushkin Enhanced 1920GB Scorpion Deluxe PCIe SSD x8/4-Way MKNP44SC1920GB-DX. We were not happy with this product because it failed to work after only 6 months. We had to order a new product to replace the defective product. The seller has a 3 year warranty on the product, but has yet to respond to our email request for a refund.

Awesome drive. I highly recommend it.

Requires an external SATA power connector.I carefully researched this item, but only on upon installation did I discover that an external SATA power connector is required to make this PCI express card work. This is NOT compatible with my 1U rack system, as there are No SATA power connectors (only a SAS backplane with proprietary connectors).Tread carefully. Unusable, and tech support from mushkin is gruff. Don't buy this if you don't have spare SATA power connectors.... There are many other similar products that don't have this odd requirement.
