Works great
I bought the combination of cutter and crimping tool.I'm not embarrassed to share my very first attempt to crimp. I tried based on the tips I found on the website "marinehowto" and "making your own battery cables". Based on that advice, I'd identify the 50mm^2 tinned copper tube lug as closer to the "flared starter lug" design than the "heavy duty power lug" - although I think these are all quite manufacturer specific. As expected I got four rounded corners and two sharp corners - which were not too shabby looking. I made the crimp with surprisingly little force. You can see I did not accurately line up the second crimp. I also thought I had the insulation right up against the jacket, but there is also a gap there. With more practice, I think I'll be making nice cables. With this set, making my own cables is not going to break the bank. The cutter is also excellent quality - I had no trouble using it to shear the 50mm^2 stranded cable (with 0.4mm diameter strands) or to safely cut away the cable insulation without damaging any copper.Would recommend this set to any beginner in a heartbeat.

It works!
Really handy and well priced cable tools. Have had no problem using it to cut and crimp thick wires

Tool good, supplied crimps junk
The tool itself is decent. I was having some difficulties with the crimps falling off initially, but this turned out to be caused by the supplied ones being absolute junk. See pic for comparison between these (left) and some others I bought, so thin. I would advise to toss them out and buy the sourcing map ones from amazon instead.

Crimps well, good value
Great tool. Been using for months during the conversion of camper van. Fits everything I've thrown at it easily and hasn't caused any issues. Easy tomuse and durable. Crimps accurately all sizes and types. Great value

Does the job! Recommended!
I bought this after many hours of reading and researching on the Web and looking at other reviews. I needed it to crimp a small number of battery connections for a camper van project and that's it - so not looking to spend a fortune. The crimpers did the job of crimping terminals very well and my only concern was about identifying the right size setting as it's not that clear from the markings, but I guessed right and the fittings were really tight on the cable. As for the cutters, well I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews, but they were great and very sharp and secure when cutting and stripping the cable. Based on my experience, I would recommend them!

Does the job, but not great
Does the job, but doesn't crimp well, you have to use these lower size down from the lug crimp. Then it's pinched the lug and looks abit naff.

Great tools to have in the tool bag for any professional electrician.
Although it may look flimsy and may not be as much in money, this "too good to be true" item really is just that. It works perfectly with different ranges of lugs and the cable cutters, once you add some wd40 it cuts through butter. Great tools to have in the tool bag for any professional electrician.

Poor quality crimper
I bought this a few months ago as I had a number of battery cables to make up for diesel generators etc and I wanted to do better than squashing them up in a vice. It looks solid enough and I was initially impressed, right up until I tried to use it. The crimps are hopeless. Using the supplied (fairly low-budget) 25mm2 x 8mm terminals, the first crimp onto a 25mm2 battery cable literally fell off, using the 25 dies! So did the second. I had to move down to 16 and butcher it completely to get them to stay on, which left nasty sharp jagged edges that were about as far from a professional crimp as you could get. Would probably have been better off using a vice and a hammer as I used to! I suppose you get what you pay for.
