I really wanted to love these socks. My kids will only wear bamboo socks since I first bought Rambutan socks for them. I was looking for a somewhat cheaper alternative and got these based on all the positive reviews. It the photo you can see the difference after 1 wash for the same size socks (the navy sock is Rambutan). The quality is just not the same. The band is looser and they are just not as comfortable as the Rambutan nor do they feel as soft.

My daughter was jealous of how soft my bamboo work socks were and wanted some of her own. So of course my first stop was to search Amazon to see if they even made kids socks out of bamboo fiber. I found a couple, but these won because they were purple, her favorite color. I was not sure what to expect as they were reasonably priced for bamboo. They looked good when they arrived and were super soft, but not fuzzy. It is hard to describe if you have not felt bamboo fiber cloth.In any case they were definitely bamboo based and she loved them. They are thinner than most sport socks, closer to dress socks, but she uses them for sports as well. She pretty much wears them all the time now. They are the only socks other than nylons that she can wear with her ice skates. She says they keep her feet warmer and they don't interfere with the feel of the ice.

I've purchased bamboo socks similar to these in the past. I tried these, as the other socks were my son's favorite, as he's a little particular with socks.But these had multiple issues: sparser weave, less durable, lower quality, and really narrow foot design. But the biggest problem is that they didn't fit my average sized son's feet. He just turned ten, wears a 6, and the heal on the sock landed an inch too short on his foot. My son looked like he was battling an invisible foe trying to get them on his feet. Not good. If allowed, I'm sure he would have been cursing up a storm. Had to give them to my 7-yr-old, who wears size 2.5, US sizes.The description should give a size, NOT an age.

School started on August 30. I sit here today, on September 30, having just pulled out the last remaining sock from this pack -- shredded, unsurprisingly -- from the dryer. I wondered if this was some kind of joke as new sock after new sock disintegrated after just one washing. These couldn't even withstand a single cold water, gentle cycle wash. These are truly terrible, please look elsewhere and do not waste your time and money on this brand.

I would not purchase these socks again. While they are so soft my sons feet still stink (I bought them because I had read that bamboo socks prevented stanky feet - they were wrong!). The socks shrunk after the first wash and the top stretched out almost as if they were years old.

My 6 year old son has intense sensory aversions, and finding socks he will wear is a nightmare. Then we found these and get LOVES them, they've very soft and he happily puts them on in the morning. The thing is, they fall apart. The 4 pack I just bought 3 weeks ago already have a couple holes and the cuff is stretched out. I wish they were more durable especially for the cost, we live them otherwise.

Socks were well constructed, soft and for my kid, a nice fit. An error occurred and I originally was shipped the wrong socks but I contacted the seller and all was taken care of quickly. At first I thought the socks were a little expensive but after getting them I realized these aren’t your average socks you get from the large national chain stores. The quality in them was above my expectations. Overall I’m happy with the product and I highly recommend it.

Very comfy. My girl has quite bad ezcemea n she loves wearing the socks to school.

Quality is not good, elastic too loose.
