Cute book
Perfect mix of plot and spice! I can’t wait to read Izzy's story next. I won't lie, I'm already annoyed by the running antagonist. I hope he meets his own end sooner or later.

Not what I expected
The book was good. It dealt with real lofe events and had some triggers (PTSD, abuse, and drugs). Does have a happy ending. Both characters show growth, and I like how bits and pieces had the fairy tale vibe.

Absolutely Fabulous!
I loved this book! I was hooked when I read the FMC had an office in the basement because of her quirky nature and musical preferences. Perfect from start to finish

Mixed feelings
Man I am having trouble describing why I didn’t really love this book. I love the fact that our heroine is a nerd/geek (even though we have different geekdomes). I like workplace romances, especially given that the heroine wasn’t the hero’s secretary or something like that. But ultimately I didn’t love it.The things I liked in this book were mostly Mia related. I liked her character a lot. She quirky, funny, and cussing in Russian while jamming out to techno in her cave at work. I love that she is unapologetically herself. That she is confident in who she is enough to be herself even in a corporate work environment. She’s professional and very good at her job, she’s even polite when people are pushy, but in way that is clear she accepts no nonsense. Her Papa is great. Her friends are pretty okay too.But our hero Thomas, went from being a person I liked to a person who annoyed me depending on the chapter. I realize he has a lot of baggage and a tragic childhood, but still, there’s only so much that is going to excuse in my book. The “inner voice” he has in his head throughout the book gets more annoying than anything, it’s fine in the beginning but then it gets old. He has some good qualities, but he keeps them under wrap, so the qualities you do see from him are how hard he is, how he puts people on “blast”, he’s overbearing in not the best way. I will say one of the things that I like about him is that he is completely accepting of Mia as she is, he even is willing to try out the things she likes. He also opens up to her and treats her generally speaking so much more gently that he does others. But even with that I couldn’t really fall for him, I wish I could. Also the mystery subplot throughout the book was kind of anticlimactic and when she leads you into the next book it feels more over the top than anything else. I don’t think this book was for me, but it definitely has an audience.

This is my 2nd time reading. This is my favorite in the book of three but it's still very very good. Great spicy scenes and wonderful storytelling

Cute story!
I liked this one! When I started it I was so drawn in because I'm also an IT computer nerd and do it for a living. This was a hard and beautiful love story. I knew it would work out in the end but I'm glad the way it all ended. For sure worth the read.

Amazing!
Wow! This story caught me and did not let me go. Some of the sex scenes were a little uncomfortable for me but I just fast-forwarded. It was too good a story for me to quit because of that. Take that as a compliment Lauren. I've been known to permanently shutdown a book before. At 70+ I'm not going to apologize. And what a surprise ending! Go Mia for the win! People, you won't be sorry you picked this one up!

very interesting book
Thomas Goldstone the billionaire with a dark side and bad childhood. Mia Karakova the nerd data analyst that works for Goldstone and has an office in the basement of the building.Their meeting was a set up but their attraction was instantaneous. Thomas was struggling with his own demon but Mia was his light and the love of his life. This story is very interesting and intriguing at the same time. The plot is well written and the characters are well represented.Just like in all fairy tale stories… and they lived happily ever after.

the beast that lives in his head.
Just had a chance to read this as it’s been in my tbr list for a bit, this story captivated me form the get go. I absolutely adored Mia, beautiful inside and out, an intelligent geek with a heart of gold and Thomas oh goodness, my heart broke for him, fighting demons for most of his life and the guilt he carried, thinking he was never good enough. Their relationship and chemistry was real but as always there are obstacles and enemies that want to ruin that. An emotional book that made me laugh and cry and swoon. Seriously steamy in places. Wow. Not all issues are resolved in this book therefore on my way to read Isabelle’s and Gabriel’s story.

Beauty and the Beast or Billionaire!
Wow! Okay so firstly I want to thank Ms Landish for this story it was a take on the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. It had everything Mystery, Suspense, Darkness or Dark themes and lots of steam/love.This was a solid read also heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.I loved how Ms Landish wove this story, even though it had some dark themes. It was a book I just couldn’t put down as I needed to know what was going to happen and how it was going to end. I can’t wait to read Izzy’s story next. Please be warned as it also makes mention of suicide, abuse both physical and verbal. If these are triggers for you then you probably want to proceed with caution or not read it.
