Worked in Mexico.
Worked well for us in Mexico. I bought two but I ended up using an add on from my mobile provider just in case it didn’t work and my husband used one of these SIM cards. Other than the slight inconvenience of having a different phone number and not having access to his own voicemail, it worked great. I’m sure there’s a work around to having access to your voicemail & texts from your original number but we weren’t gone long enough to need it. As long as you follow set up instructions and setup several days in advance it works great.

SIM Card Compatibility is a Joke.
It did not work. All of the Googling, the multiple times I entered the phone’s IMEI number to try and verify that this item would work was for nothing. All of the research indicated that the SIM would work yet when I put it in the phone I received an in email saying on closer inspection the item might not work and if it does work the service would be spotty.Something somewhere should have indicated that before I purchased the product.

Good product! Read the instructions for activation and don't call Tmobile
I had doubts about buying the sim card because of other people's reviews saying it did not work. But I bought it and it work great, the plan includes the 10gb in USA and roaming data if you go to Canada. I was able to have internet and calss in both countries.Follow the activation instructions given on the package that you receive.I'm giving it a 4 only because the instructions on the description differ from the one on the package, but the product did work as expected.

Worked for a trip to Canada
We didn’t want to deal with our mobile providers’ excessive charges for our trip to Canada so we bought two of these at $23.98 each (plus tax). Activation was easy through the website. We did that the day before we traveled. They do warn you it can take up to 24 hours for it to get activated, but ours were good to go in a couple of hours. If you did it later in the evening it might be the next day before it works. The SIM cards themselves worked fine. I used mine for Maps and found by day 5 that it wouldn’t connect to the internet using data. No indication I had exceeded my limit. Our other card was fine. We got temporary 302 area code numbers that we shared to our important contacts. We would use these again.

Data did not work in Canada
Travelled through Canada from lower 48 up into Alaska for a trip. Crossed in North Dakota/Saskatchewan, then passed all the way through Alberta, BC, and then YT. Got this sim so I could plug it in before leaving and just use it for the whole trip. I activated it a few days before I left (since I really didn't need the full 30 days). Service worked fine through the whole US, but entering Saskatchewan I lost all data capability. It started roaming fine as far as call and text, but no data or SMS pictures. This was a major annoyance obviously. After contacting tmobile several times over the course of 4 hours, they were unable to resolve it (though they definitely seemed they were doing their best and were as helpful as possible given the circumstances). Worst of all, entering Alaska, the phone did not seem to gain data capability back either, so I near immediately swapped back to my normal sim.Go with something on Rogers or Bell's network, especially if you're out in western Canada.

Somewhat useful while traveling in Mexico
I bought this Sim for a one week trip from US to Mexico. It took over a week to arrive even though the Amazon distribution center is only about 10 miles away from my home. Activation process was not too bad, but the instructions for entering your preferred start and stop dates was bugging. You scan a Q code which opens a web page to initiate the activation process.Don't expect instant activation; it takes 24 hours or more. Coverage while in the US was 5G but instantly drops to 4G when you land in Mexico. In some places it will even sink to 3G in some remote parts like the touristy Pyramid of Teotihuacan but I couldn't understand why at the CDMX airport or the city center it was still 3G only. I wish there were better options but between T-Mobile and Telcel there are few reliable, affordable choices.

Worked Great
Bought it for use on a trip to Mexico City.Card was activated by the time I landed.Even though the telephone number assigned was a Texas number, I was able to dial within Mexico as if I had a Mexican number (Local). No issue dialing the US either. My Internet connection was fast and very dependable.

Didn't include plan
Like other reviews say, this must be activated before traveling to be able to use. This is done by calling the T-Mobile customer support. I called and confirmed by 2 different representatives that my sim card I received did not have any plan attached to it. They said I would need to pay an extra $45 a long with setting up a new account with a credit card and all to get the service activated. The only way for them to get around this was to go to a physical store to have the SIM card activated, nothing could be done over the phone. This wasn't possible for me because I had already left not knowing any of this because the website that the card tells you to visit to "activate" said it was all set. The whole process they have in place is meant for customers who want to keep the phone number they give you and have you setup recurring payments, there is no such thing as one-time prepaid SIM cards for T-Mobile which was what I thought this was meant to be. This is sold by T-Mobile as well yet none of this information is explained. I still don't know if this was by mistake or not but if you buy this, you are essentially paying $35 for a SIM card. The kicker is that one of them said they can mail SIM cards for free when setting up a new account. Would not recommend buying this.
