I had to drill out the mouth piece, as it was too narrow to get a pipe cleaner through. I read someone else did this in their review, and was prepared to maybe need to do that. I did. If you'd like too use this and clean it with standard pipe cleaners, you'll likely and find this necessary. It's not difficult, if you have a drill.It does distance the hand a bit from the cigarette smell. I honestly just like having a solid mouthpiece to draw from. It's changed my ashing dynamic, as now I usually just lightly tap the holder itself against something solid to loose the ash. Never have to worry about accidentally burning my finger. I can relight a partially smoked cigarette easily, with ample distant between my face and the flame. It's just nice. I generally won't smoke without this now.

I use cigarette holders to reduce tar stains on my fingers. These holders (5.1” & 3.9”) do this efficiently, and the brass tips hold the cigarette securely. After ordering one of each to try, I ordered an additional two of each.I downgraded the rating from five stars because I had to drill out the lower half of the mouthpiece to be large enough for a standard pipe cleaner. Personally, I also prefer natural wood to the garish red finish, so I strip the finish (alcohol dissolves it, steel wool and furniture oil finishes it).

The day i received the holder, i opened my pack of Marlboro cigaretts and tried to insert one in the holder hole. To my suprise i could not even force it into the hole. I am very disgusted.

I bought this because I didn't want to burn my beautiful leather gloves. It works like a charm without messing with the flow of smoke. I LOVE!

Buono il materiale utilissimo per non macchiarsi le dita con il tabacco ed è anche molto bello forse un po' troppo caro , direi che il prezzo ottimale si potrebbe aggirare intorno ai 10€

Juste parfait Accessoire fonctionnel et très joli. Donne un petit style et évite les traces de nicotine sur les doigts, les ongles et l’odeur du tabac sur la main. Très féminin J’adore
