This was recommended to me by a physical therapist and has provided much piece of mind as my patient suffers from urine retention. These sit between the toilet and the seat and are sturdy and firm. The man must sit on the toilet, and it captures the urine flow. The unit does not interfere with flushing. My patient can wash up and leave the bathroom and then I can document urine output. The volume markers are easy to read which allows me to know confidently urine volumes. Once complete, I simply dump the urine in the toilet, rinse it out and reset it for the next time.

I owned a drug testing company and we used these to collect urine specimens from those that individuals who were unable to hold the traditional specimen cup.

Every woman needs this. It’s reusable all you have to do is wash it and dry it for your next doctors appointment.

Not sure why these plastic specimen collection containers are so expensive, but at least they are solid. Makes patients feel better about needing to use them.

Easy to use

Product is very thin and collapsed in the toilet, but worked when doubled up. However they were clear and not white as pictured. I had to put white medical tape over the measurements on the one container in order to read the numbers on the inner one. Delivery was also delayed.

OK collecting a specimen can be embarrassing and stressful. The paper items that come with medical test kits for home use given by you doctor are flimsy. The slant pan is easier to control and if you need a "redo" not a problem.

I've read several reviews saying that these are flimsy and I've seen the pictures corroborating this. However, mine are solid white plastic and quite sturdy. I'm very pleased with the quality and I'm still using my first pee hat.I use mine standing up, so I can't speak to the stability of the hat while sitting down. Mine has never fallen in the toilet during use. Could it be more secure, probably, but a lot depends on the design of your toilet.I'm very happy with this purchase.
