Great quality and soft leather.
The quality of the leather is great, soft and snug fit. The seams are sewn together very well. This is my second pair I've ordered. Since over three years ago. They were still in great shape, threads held up great and would still be using them if hadn't of lost my first pair. Could be compared to $70 plus dollar gloves from Italy for a better price. Good for driving, motorcycle riding. They provide great grip and feel like an extension to your skin. They aren't isolated but will keep your hands warm. They aren't too thick nor too thin for my liking. Not having to remove ypur gloves to use the touch screen on smart phones, is a big plus as well. I wouldn't recommend them as working gloves but would be good for dressing up in suits or wearing with casual clothes in the winter and fall seasons.

Real Person Real Work Really GREAT Gloves!!!
I totally agree with Russ Carnes these are GREAT driving gloves. It was his review that led me to buy these gloves and it is spot-on. As a public transit bus operator I use gloves as tool to better control a 12 ton bus in city traffic. The increased grip on rubber and hard plastic steering wheels is greatly appreciated. I don't care that they leave dye on me or other such nonsense. These are a tool NOT an affectation. They fit well and wear well. I bought these at the end of August 2014 and they have lasted until now (3/16) as usable gloves. The seams have held up with only some finger tip wear through. 8 to 10 hours a day M-F. I've worn many brands of driving gloves in 30 years of driving and these have been the BEST. Some pairs only lasted 6 months and that's being generous. If you're looking for real driving gloves quit looking and buy these. If Pratt and Hart are maintaining their quality you won't be disappointed!

Simple. Clean. Second Skin.
I bought these back in Oct/Nov 2013 and I am still using them for driving and causal/ classy wear. Something i like to wear with my pea coat for a clean cut look. I love the fit, its like second skin. When driving and holding my leather steering wheel it has perfect grip even for one handed drivers like myself. Feels good to not hold a cold steering wheel. Also works on touch screen devices (just takes a second to register on the screen but works. Not great for texting.) But i have to say the first time i wore these gloves the leather on the inside would leave behind a lot of brown lint which got stuck to my hand. At first this bothered me but it just had to be worn in before the lint was all gone from the inside of the glove. That took about a week of wear. And now i love these gloves more than any leather gloves in the world. Well priced as well, i honestly wouldn't pay more then $40 for deer skin. So please P&H, do not raise the price. Overall wonderful gloves. Thank you, Pratt and Hart! Gonna buy me a black pair soon! =)

Great Return Policy
Ordered the large, which ran normal size, but I preferred a more snug fit. Return policy allows for one free return, free shipping all around. Response time was super fast. Gloves are great quality, very soft, mediums fit my dainty hands very well. No color bleeding, starting to look nice and worn in. Only complaint is that the leather could be a bit thicker. They are very thin, which is nice for feel and response, but I am afraid they will wear through in time. We shall see...

Deer to be different
I'll admit, buying gloves online is always going to be a bit of a gamble and for me this paid off. Don't let anyone convince you however that "they fit me so they will fit you". When you put sizing aside, there is still a lot to recommend this product. In colour, the gloves are a more buttery-yellow (than "tan" would indicate) and have a visible pebbled grain to the matt leather. The deerskin is remarkably soft and supple with a silky feel on the outside and a fine suede texture on the inside. The stitching is precise, uniform and well finished. Particularly of note is shark-tooth stitching on the wrist (palm-side) that conceals the hand-clinging elastic. Design-wise these are classic unlined driving gloves. They feature the scooped racer-back, a Velcro-tab closure and perspiration holes along the back of each finger. The only Italian style-convention absent is the lack of knuckle holes and the designer price tag. Great gloves, good price - good luck

WOW!
I ordered these on a Saturday and they arrived on Wednesday (two business days!). After comparing them with a couple other pairs of driving gloves, I decided on these. Debated on sizing as some reviews claimed the came smaller than expected. Well, I won't get into the raucous debate about men's hand size and what they reflect. I freely admit that I have an average hand size so I ordered the medium. Put them on and it gives new meaning to the phrase "fits like a glove". You need driving gloves to have a nice tight fit and that they were. The deerskin is so much more supple and comfortable than conventional leather. Fingers flex freely and they grip my leather wheel really well. Can't wait to pick up a hottie in my Armani with these on my hands looking like the Transporter!

Good but not great
These are nice gloves, and they do fit rather snuggly. They smell great, and work well on a leather steering wheel. I would not quite, as yet, call them a second skin. (This is with about a week of use.) And I cannot operate touch screen functions with them as yet either (perhaps this will come to be, as the leather stretches, but so far, it doesn't work). I'm not disappointed, but I'm not totally impressed. I will likely seek another solution that will allow me to operate the touch screen and iPhone without removing the glove. But again, it is close, and I will give these gloves a bit more time to rise to the occasion. As others have noted, too, the velcro is not as satisfying as a snap might be.
