Perfect Product
I have now used this as part of my workflow making youtube/stream content as my full time income for over a year and it's brilliant. The multi fader volume control allows super easy adjusting of various programs without having to dig around in the windows volume mixer - which can be a stressful to do quickly when live! The realtime microphone denoise, desesser and eq allow me to completely bipass audio programs like audacity and audition when recording voice over for youtube videos and I can instead record directly into my video editing program which makes for significantly less audio post production required (huge time saver for me!). And because the audio post production is done on the device my mic sounds consistant wether im using OBS to stream, recording voice over or chatting to friends on discord. The device doesn't power off the lights when turning off the PC which is annoying and it doesn't look like there will be a good solution any time soon. I personally haven't used the voice effects that are only on the bigger goxlr much myself but the functionality is excellent so if you have a good use case for them, it's worth checking out.The price is quite a lot but I think for what it does this has been one of the best purchases I've made in a while.

Product is NOT scratched, as per other reviews
For those saying the product is scratched, it is not, there is a hard layer of plastic covering the whole surface that you’re supposed to peal off. There’s even a sticker in the top left corner telling you so. It’s hard to get off and it will feel like you’re damaging a protective layer but it is supposed to peal off and leave a nice shiny surface with no scratches. You might need to pick at it for a while I’m one of the corners but it will eventually come loose and let you remove it, and be careful to move the sliders up and down accordingly when you get to that area.I’m shocked some people got refunds for the product for thatOtherwise it is a great piece of kit that can be used by non streamers to quickly adjust the volume of different sound sources without having the need to alt-tab out of a game. The sound board is very fun and easy to use also, allows you to record incoming sound sources as well as add in any existing audio you may have.

A great all in one unit!
As I mentioned in a previous review, I do stream here and there strictly for fun and I don't take it super seriously. I was previously using the MV7 in USB mode, but I got talked into buying the GoXLR by a friend as they had nothing but good things to say about it, and that he didn't regret purchasing it at all. I was getting pretty fed up with the issue I was having with the MV7 (feel free to refer to my review of the mic for more info on my experience with it, but long story short, the gain level I set would reset back to the max level whenever I would restart my PC) - so I wanted to switch to XLR to remedy the issue, and I felt like the GoXLR was a good option as it also cut out the need to use submixes in OBS as I was able to get rid of the virtual cables I was using since all of that work is done on the GoXLR.The best part of the GoXLR is the fact it has the following built in: Noise gate, EQ, compressor and de-esser. The reason this is a great feature is because normally I would only be able to use those filters on my stream/recordings, as you can't add any of these features through Windows - so I have the effects on my microphone universally, meaning that I'm EQ'd not only on OBS, but also on the likes of Discord with friends. To me, the voice effects (pitch, reverb etc.) and sample pad are just an extra bonus, and I do find myself using them from time to time for comedic effect! I would have went with the GoXLR Mini, but I really liked the thought of the mechanical sliders, as well as the fact that the cost of getting the GoXLR Mini along with some decent voice changing/filter software and a sample pad would probably come to around the same price of the regular sized GoXLR anyways, and it is nice to have everything built into one robust unit. The only issues I have with the device are strictly due to software limitations, which can and probably will be fixed with future software updates from the TC Helicon team. Their Discord server is exceptional, as they are very active with not only tech support, but with sharing their planned features for future updates.100% recommend this unit, even just for general use, it is incredibly powerful. If you're a streamer also, it makes life so much easier with being able to split your game and system sound, so if you have sound alerts set up, you no longer have to battle with game audio being too loud, as you can assign it to a slider and control the volume independently of the system/alert sounds, and the same goes for the likes of music and Discord/voice chat audio. One thing I would love to see in the future is something like a GoXLR XL, or a GoXLR Pro, which has even an extra 2 sliders - as I feel like 6 channels/sliders you can assign sounds to would be a perfect number.

Not required, but I now can't live without it.
I come from a professional broadcast background, I brought this worrying about the snooty reviews online from sound engineers etc. Honestly, it's an amazing bit of kit. I use it for everything, all day every day.It helps me manage computer sound quickly and easily. The faders get constantly thrown up and down and they're still sturdy. The effects panel hasn't been that useful and the record function gets old unless you have a specific use for it.Although a great bit of kit, I feel that the mini would be best suited if it had a push to mute button like the larger GoXLRSoftware is simple and straightforward, honestly if you need something to manage sound on the fly for streaming, recording or just general every day usage. This.

Incredible audio device
Easy to understand audio interface that makes advanced audio features and processes simple and applicable to any microphone. Great for organising individual aspects of audio and great fun playing around with audio filters. Recommend watching a YouTube tutorial to get your bearings of the interface.
