Light Society LS-C237-BB-CL Montreal Hanging Pendant, Brushed Brass with Clear Glass Shade, Industrial Modern Lighting Fixture

We wanted a black metal fixture with the frosted glass. They didn't offer that option but it was relatively easy to get the desired result with a rattle can. Looks great.

These lights are beautiful. Better quality than I expected with such an affordable price. So many compliments.

I bought them for the kitchen island but haven't installed them yet.I am happy with the value since they are cheaper than the other similar one. I got brushed brass/clear ones.I like the simple and modern style.I prefer this to the other similar one for its longer shade and more importantly, the price.Though the other one's canopy looks nicer.Some suggestions -1.canopyIf the canopy can be straight circular like a jar lid instead of tapered a bit,it will give an even simpler and more modern look. The other brand has it.2.finishIf more finishes such as polished brass can be provided, it will be nice.

For the price of these Light Society polished nickel pendant lights I didn't expect much, but WOW were we surprised when they arrived. The quality of the finish, fit, and fixture is absolutely outstanding - and far better than what we've seen in the "big box" home improvement stores.Well-packaged to avoid damage, 5 different pole segments are included to accommodate various mounting heights and ceilings. Figure your mounting height, thread the fixture wiring through each segment and then screw together to secure. As a nice detail, the junction box mount pivots to allow the mounting nuts to align consistently in the ceiling. And the junction base has plenty of room for wiring without appearing out-of-scale. Speaking of the junction box, the pole pivots to allow mounting on sloped ceilings.The instructions could have been a bit clearer - but once you figure one out the assembly is simple. One of the 5 rods is dual-ended and required (the instructions don't indicate this difference, but you will figure it out when you try to assemble). It is impossible to thread the wiring if all segments are screwed together - something you discover quickly that the instructions don't mention. Finally, the glass mount was a bit finicky - I figured out that each of the 3 mounting screws should be started equal lengths and then slowly and equally tightened a bit at a time. If you don't do this, you'll find the glass "sags" with one of the mounting bolts not fully threaded.All-in-all, minor assembly instructions aside, you absolutely can't beat the quality, fit, finish, and look of these fixtures. Especially at this price.

The pendants are lovely, do their job and continue to do so. However, one of the frosted glass shades developed a ‘discoloring’ of sorts in the shape of a circle after about 9 months. Now every time I look at it all I see is this 3 inch circle. I must replace the whole set because I can’t find this exact lamp.

So it's going to mark me as getting this for free, but I will say that I got one for free and paid for 2 more! These pendant lights look so nice that I get constant compliments on them. They look way more expensive than they are!When I received them, it did look like two of them were scratched, but I cleaned them and whatever it was came off. They are perfect now, and I didn't have any issues with any of the 3 glass breaking. I will say, clean the glass before you put them up, it's a lot easier that way.They were easy to install. You can barely tell that there are 2 extensions in the rods unless you are looking very, very closely. And they hang straight!!I did buy more of a warm light bulb for these since they are clear glass. We tried an led bulb but it was just too harsh on the eyes.Overall, I am so happy with my fancy-looking pendant lights! I hope to buy the matching chandelier for my nook table soon! And the company had great customer service! They reached out several times to make sure we were 100% happy with the lights.

I bought three black pendant lights for my kitchen island. When I received my order one of the glasses was shattered I sent a message to the seller and they responded quickly and sent a replacement. They have several rods to adjust to desired length. I was very impressed on how good they looked. The glass cylinders are bigger than I expected but that’s okay they still look beautiful. It definitely gave my kitchen an upgrade. I think I will use a warmer light bulb because the LED bulb was too harsh since they are clear glass. The only downfall is that you notice ever fingerprint on the glass. Otherwise satisfied customer.

Our light arrived very well packaged and was easy to install. We like it so much we've just ordered a second one. This is a real bargain at the price.
