Amazing response with any register
Butter is the one word i would use to describe this. It is an excellent piece to work on tone and it allows you to hit lower notes just as easily as higher ones. I like to use d' addario reserves 3.0+ reeds and those two pair well with each other. Overall this is a great mouthpiece for how low priced this is compared to others.

Amazing! Literally sounds as if I was playing a different instrument.
Amazing! My band director stated that I sound much more confident and less as if I was whimpering. I heavily recommend for intermediate and above players!

Great all-purpose mouthpiece
This Rousseau mouthpiece is a significant improvement over stock pieces and I like it better than the benchmark Selmer C-star for legit playing. Upper register has proved to be much easier with this piece, though it does require a fairly hard reed, like a 3 or more. Tone quality and pitch are pretty consistent from top to bottom. Those who buy into the French sound vs. German sound schools of classical playing will find this on the French side, understandable since Rousseau is a student of Mule, or the "cool" school of jazz sound, like Konitz or Desmond. All in all, a very fine mouthpiece at a fraction of the cost of a Selmer.

Expected better craftsmanship given the price
My kid had this mouthpiece for 3 months. She was sitting in her school band room, adjusting the reed, it fell and broke into several pieces. Expected better craftsmanship given the price.

Great Buy
Needed to buy this mouthpiece for my son's band class. At the local stores they wanted $179 and another store wanted $279 for this exact mouthpiece. Buying this mouthpiece was a great deal and glad that his band teacher shared this information with us in which saved us a lot of money.

We purchased this for my son. It was recommended by his band director (the first one was $160+). He is very pleased with it.
