I got this 20 inch 4mm chain for my boyfriend and it’s a nice, thick, rope chain. The clasp is easy to open and close and the stainless steel silver is very nice!

very solid and beautiful chain

I’ve worn this chain every day for almost a year (this review was written in late august 2021, chain was bought in early-mid September 2020), only taking it off very rarely. I’ve worn it in both fresh and salt water, and while working out and exercising. Basically, I haven’t made any effort to be gentle to take care of the chain.Despite this, it’s has no kinks or creases. The chain is very sturdy and well made. The photo for this review was taken on the day of the review.The material is excellent, too. There is zero tarnishing or discoloration. The chain has the same amount of luster as it did on the first day I bought it. It isn’t quite as shiny as silver - of course that’s just how stainless steal is - but the surface finish is excellent and the chain looks great in bright light.I’ll be honest, I didn’t have super high expectations considering the chain cost so little, I kinda expected I might have to replace it in 6-12 months. But the chain met and exceeded the expectations that I would have had for a product that was 2-3 times more expensive, and I do not see myself replacing this chain unless I somehow completely break it by accident.I would 100% recommend this anyone looking for an affordable, very good quality, rope-style chain for everyday wear.

For best shine, you will want to clean at least 2x/wk. Baking soda, powdered charcoal And hydrogen peroxide are a great mix for cleaning jewelry. -And for whitening teeth as well.

Broken within a week

Absolutely love this necklace. I was pleased when I received it. It was a gift for my son and he loves it . Still shining around his neck. Will definitely come back for more
