Great product by Gerber
Perfect set to take hiking or camping. Doesn't weigh much and everything nestles together for convivence. Only thing I haven't tried is the potato peeler, but the can opener works great. Defiantly worth the buy.

Ultimate all in one for backpack camping
It took me a minute to figure it out and put it back together, my bad for not reading the instructions. The fit is super tight and watch your fingers with the peeler when you put it back or it will slice you. Weight is as light as it can get and very sturdy. Everything has a purpose and the length is just right for eating out of pouches or cooking over a fire. The spoon is shallow enough to cereal out of and the spork is design to actually stab and pick up food. Tongs work ok if you gotta grab a hot dog, I wouldnt try to lift a fish with it if it was flakey. All and all Gerber made a perfect utensil unit that is absolutely worth the money.Would buy again but not because it broke, it's just that bad ass a tool.

Your new travel buddy
Gerber once again has released another great product. This has everything you need for camping, hiking, traveling, etc. The utensil themselves are very flexible and sturdy maintaining their shape and structure easily. In Gerbers instructional video they show the tong set up being used to move asparagus. You can see how clumsily he does it even though it doesn’t work for that, it’s more for salads, pastas or large pouch meals. That configuration is very usable for many other things as well. They just work. The fork has just enough space to grab and hold various types of food. The curved spoon is perfect for eating solids and soups. The silicone edge in the scraper makes it easy to empty out the pot when serving portions and a small cutting edge on the other side is very useful for breaking up foods within your cooking/heating receptacle. The only thing that really needs to be addressed which was mentioned in a previous review is the sharp edge of the can opener. This is a ridiculous small inconvenience. This issue can be mitigated simply by adding a ranger band to cover that area. Not only does this mitigate the issue of the sharp edge contacting anything else but it ensures that utensil stay together if they get dislodged in your pack or whatever else you’re carrying them in. Most people who take a utensil like this would modify it to their style. Also I find people don’t buy equipment and throw it into their gear without figuring out how it plays a role in the overall structure of their packs. Adding a ranger band is a quick way to solve all your problems with this amazing product.

Handy
Good quality, the fork could be a bit more pointy, hard to use it on stakes, the spatula is small but perfect for the small pots I bring camping, useful when combined and used as tongs, the silicone part is good to avoid scratches on your pans and the serrated edge is worthless unless you’re cutting bananas lol, very light weight although I car/tent camp thus weight is not an issue here. A word of caution worth mentioning is that the tool that keeps them together (bottle opener, peeler) is very sharp on one edge yet is what keeps them together, no worries if you use a ranger band or other to keep them together and just discard or keep it tucked in the band because you never know when you need to open a bottle etc. In essence I like it and find it useful with minor hiccups, the reason I got it was because they had a discount on this particular color, had they been full price I’m not so sure I would’ve purchased, in my opinion is a bit pricey for what it is if you get it at full price.

Durable, light weight and you can use it as a tongs.
I purchased this for a recent Boundary Waters tip and it worked out amazingly well. The fork and spoon worked well for both cooking and eating. The spatula (while a bit small) worked well on making scrambled eggs and mac n cheese. The really great thing about it is you can hook the fork (or spoon) into the spatula and turn it into a tongs. For the first night out we packed in some steaks and the tongs worked very well at flipping them. A quality product that did what it was meant to and then some.

This does everything I need and more!
First off, I have owned every Spork, camping utensil there is finally I have something useful, thoughtfully designed and lightweight. My favorite part of this tool is the ability to convert it into tongs. I use them ALL the time when cooking any meat. I flip Spam, turn hot dogs and grab everything else.I use the Spatula to make scrambled eggs and scrape the bottom of the pan.It has enough length to dip into a Mountain house and Freezer bag.I like that it has a can opener and bottle opener. It's cool that it has a peeler but I don't think I will ever use that. This goes with me everywhere. I even take it to work with me.Tip: Stack the pieces together then slide them onto the Spatula from the rear with a pulling action, don't try to push it into place from the front. It's much easier to put together that way.
