Great Figure for the Price
There is a lot of detail, but also gaps and mold lines. The flimsy box fell apart during shipping despite the shippers best efforts to protect it.

Beautiful detail!!
Beautiful figure!!! I tried to get a picture with good lighting but I just can't do it justice...the detail is amazing! The position of the wings together made it a little difficult to paint, but it looks so graceful compared to some of the other models. Love it!

Arrived smashed
The package was smashed and ripped when it arrived in the bubble-mailer. The nose of the dragon has been rubbed flat from being worn through the mail.

This is far smaller than they say it is.
Too small.

Very detailed
My third dragon from Nolzur's line and as with the other two it's detail is very impressive and I can't wait to paint it!

Pretty good
Had to spread the wings apart to get all the way in with the brush, and there were a few lumpy parts in the plastic but overall a good miniature.

A versatile mini.
No assembly required for the mini itself - comes pre-assembled, and the clear support attached to the terrain base just pushes into a gap under the left wing after painting, and holds fairly securely without the need for glue. There were some gaps between the different parts of the miniature, which was disappointing, but they're not very obvious after painting. As provided, the wings are held very upright and close together, making it difficult to paint them, and making the miniature very upright in nature. I easily re-set the position of the wings by immersing them in boiling water for a minute or so, spreading the wings wider and then plunging in to cold water. The new position has held well. There's a secondary, flat 3" disc base provided, which would need gluing on if you wanted to incorporate it. The packaging takes pains to point out this additional base is intended to help provide stability, rather than be to scale for the purposes of gameplay, but it would be 3 squares wide on a typical battle-map, which fits a "huge" creature (adult dragon size) in D&D. The dragon mini itself would measure about 6" from nose to tail tip if straightened out, which translates to 30ft (6 squares) on a typical tabletop battle-map - I'm not sure what stage of life that officially fits, but looking at the mini next to a typical hero, I would say it best represents a larger juvenile or a smaller adult dragon - the fact that you could use the smaller terrain-type base to cover 2x2 squares, or the larger flat disc to cover 3x3 means you could effectively use this mini for either. The overall quality of the mini isn't bad, but I did find it was a little lacking in detail - there's very little definition to the teeth, for instance, and the skin is rather smooth.
