Missing product from order
So excited about these pots but unfortunately the coir and 2 of the three water measuring parts are completely missing. :(

Easy to put together and works great
Nice pots - look nice, easy to clean. I used these pots for container flowers. Water level indicator insert was easy to put together. Water level indicator is accurate and I can see it easily. Kept the flowers ‘watered’ during extreme heat wave while also being an accurate indicator of when to add water. After a very heavy rainfall I did have to tip out extra water but I had to do that for the other pots too.The largest is a good medium pot size for around a 6 pak of flowers. I wish they made bigger pots too.

Vibrant and Durable Self Watering Pots
We have been on the look for self-watering pots for some of our plants that need watering more often, especially as we live in an extremely hot location. We've been extremely happy with the sturdiness of these pots and how the functionality works on the self watering. Also, I adore the bright colors that match perfectly for our lanai.Another thing to note, is they did great on their overall directions provided in the box and the instructional video. Their customer service was impeccable, as I reached out to them one one topic. It's great when companies like this make it so easy. I would highly recommend this product and brand.

Water issue
Works really good if your plant needs to be continuously watered. The gauge was helpful. However, it kept my orchids too wet and the leaves started to fall off. Had to repot them. Nice size though.

I have ordered these pots 3 times--Love them and can't have too many!
I just ordered my 3rd set of GardenBasics pots--the first set in March 2019 (still working great), the second for my daughter and son-in-law, and the third a month or so ago. They are durable and re-usable. My first set purchased in March 2019 is on its third planting. My 2019 herbs stayed alive and healthy from March until well into the fall. I used them again last year with the same great result. The first two years, I planted Bonnie Bell herbs from Lowes, and true to the instructions had to water them from the top for a while until the roots took hold. The plants looked a little sickly at first, but once the roots started growing into the water, they thrived and kept on producing. I started seeing a few gnats around the young plants, so added a 1/4" layer of vermiculite on top of the soil to discourage gnats from nesting in the soil--seemed to do the trick so I made it a part of my permanent plan. For this last set in January 2021, I decided to try planting seeds directly into the pots and am having great results. First I tried mixing the coconut coir with potting soil, but the best results so far are using the coconut coir soil by itself, spraying frequently and liberally with Miracle Gro water (1/2 tsp to a gallon of water), and keeping the pot covered with Press and Seal plastic wrap with little holes punched in it until the seeds are well sprouted. After well-sprouted I'll again add a layer of vermiculite. These are dressy-looking pots that look good both in my breakfast room (for very cold or hot days) or out on the patio (for most days). Illustrated instructions were great. Thanks!

Great product and easy to set up and use
Love these pots. I own about 6 of them and will be ordering more once they become available again. They are great at keeping my plants moist, while avoiding root rot.I minused one star because I had to add some cord weaved through the bottom, in order for the water to reach the soil. So that I could avoid the 6 week wait period while the roots grow out enough to touch the water. If it had of included the cord, I would have given it full stars. It's lightweight and easy to set up and use. The little indicator is in a glass tube and it shows when the water is running low.

It works and easy to use
I bought three and tried it on my anthurium clarinervium and neon pothos in leca. It’s been a month, so far so good. Though I do find the leca in there hasn’t wicked all the way up to the top. The top to middle is much more dry. It could just be the medium I use, I’m sure regular soil would wick better. If you have plants that prefer more moist conditions and you have it in leca you might want to take out the container and rinse it over the sink to hydrate the leca/hydroton once in a while or have the water level higher.Pros - light weight because it’s plastic, removal inner container, correct sizing (much better than those tiny 4inch containers), white simple container design, it works, easy to use. Price is really reasonable especially if you catch it on the lower price point side.Cons - plastic could also be seen as a con as it’s more of a lighter weight plastic (slightly bendable the outer pot without the liner pot, has branding (I prefer no branding for a clean look though you can easily scratch the logo off), as with all self watering containers the height is taller and just slightly wider than normal 6inch containers.Overall I’m satisfied and would repurchase again if I need self watering pots at this size.

Great Self Watering Option
I did a huge amount of comparison shopping when looking for self-watering planters and one of the make or break features for me was that the planter needed to have a fill indicator on it so that I would know how much water was in the pot. Of all the options that were available these were far and away the most cost effective, so much so that I admit I was a bit skeptical until I received the product. The pots arrived efficiently packaged which is a big win in sustainability for me and I do appreciate that!So far I've used two out of the three pots that I received and they have both worked out great, exactly as advertised and they are aesthetically pleasing. I was a bit surprised that they were a flexible plastic rather than rigid initially but I haven't found that to be a concern at all. In fact them being flexible makes it much easier to get the inner pots out when needed so I see it as a positive. That also brings me to my one gripe about the product which is that I would love to see some sort of little lip somewhere on the inner pot, potentially near the fill indicator, that I could get my finger(s) into to pull the inner pot out more easily. I don't need to do this too often but when I have it's been a bit of a struggle. I did reach out to the company and they advised that they have considered this option but that the small size of the pot makes it difficult to add the handle, fair enough!Overall I would definitely recommend this to other folks who are looking for a solid option for self-watering planters.
