Soothing, cleansing, and smells good too!
We - both my boyfriend and I - are fans of Mademoiselle Provence products in general and were very excited when the body washes were released. The body washes (we purchased two) smell just as good as the lotions and truly are silky smooth like the company advertises. If you prefer shower gels or washes that get super sudsy, this product may not be for you since it is a cream and doesn't generate too many bubbles. I personally don't mind this at all so I enjoy the product. Even more so, I like knowing that they're cruelty-free and nearly 100% natural. I highly recommend pairing the body washes with the lotions (same or mix-matched) to smell and feel extra good and moisturized!

Don't reccomend!
Unfortunately this product didn't work out for me! I usually love rose scents but the smell of this body wash just threw me off completely. It smells both earthy and artificial at the same time. It also doesn't foam well at all. I used a generous amount on my washcloth, as I normally do with all of my body washes, but it seemed to dissappear and wash away immediately. Even though I used a lot of product, it wasn't enough to wash my entire body. I'm definitely not repurchasing this.

THIS DIDN'T HAVE MUCH OF THE ROSE FRAGRANT
BEING THIS IS THE LAST THAT AVAILABLE, IT MUST BE OLD BECAUSE IT DIDNOT SMELL MUCH AND THE LIQUID IS SO THICK.. I THINK YOU SHOULD SEND A NEW BATCH I DON'T MIND IF I MUST WAIT FOR A BETTER , NEWER BOTTLE. I LOVE EUROPEAN LOTIONS AND PERFUME ETC BUT THIS ITEM IS NOT UP TO MY EXPECTATION

artificial fragrance
Received this shower gel today and used it for the first time. Disappointed to say that the rose and peony fragrance is not there. Instead it's a 'powdery' smell which reminds me of those cheap air fresheners. Although it's not super strong, it lingers on the skin for a while. I wanted to like this product but the artificial fragrance is a real put off.
