Can be a little hard to clean the small holes.

I bought this for occasions when I need to make a lot of pasta and want to keep the boiling water in the pot for the next batch.Pros: It sits low in the pot so you can use less water. It was considerably less expensive than other brands.Cons: Perhaps this is specific to these products in general (this is my first one) or perhaps it’s because it doesn’t sit flat in my pot (the elbow in the handle is down a little too low and sits on the inner rim of the pot, holding the bottom up too high), but the boiling water comes out the top of the pot and gets everywhere! Lots of water, not just a few splashes.So, it’s adequate for occasional use, but that’s it.

i like the bowl design but for using to make miso soup it's overkill in size.

Wow I'm happy I bought this to make my Miso soup. It is very sturdy and well made, the mesh is very fine and you will not get clumps at all ! it has a little 'hanger' on the underside to hang it on your pot so you can use it hands free. It works well with any size pot and you won't be sorry you bought it !

Comperato per mio figlio che deve mangiare 100 gr. di pasta a pranzo, con questo cestello evito di usare un altra pentola.Come si può' vedere in foto e' abbastanza grande, penso che la grammatura massima sia intorno a 300/400 gr di pasta , anche in altezza risulta utile per gli spaghetti.dunque e' completo e molto utile (ha il gancio dietro per bloccarlo alla pentola, il manico essendo alto e molto utile a non scottarsi le mani ).L'unica cosa che non mi convince e' la saldatura tra il cestello e il manico pero' e' una mia impressione.La spedizione e' stata veloce e il pacco ben confezionato.il prezzo non e' proprio basso pero' vediamo se nel tempo li vale.lo consiglio !!AGGIORNAMENTO 04 06 2020:Tutto perfetto da 4 stelle a 5Spero di esservi stato utile e vi invito a cliccare sul bottone “Utile” qui sotto.Alla prossima!

Brilliant bit of kit and much easier to cook ramen (or any noodles) with. Make sure you have a tall saucepan that can meet as close to the hieght of it as possible, and this will keep the noodles together as they cook and make it soooooo much easier to drain and serve. Highly recommended if you love your noodles!

Product was as described. Works well. Only complain is the handle which looks a bit flimsy, have used it few times and it still holds up. Let’s hope it will last.
