The model is a great size and the detail is fantastic. It doesn't have a complete over-bite like the T-Rex from JP, but it is very clearly inspired by a similar design. I have both the green one and the brown one, and I prefer the brown one when they're both in the light - but the green one looks more sinister in low light. The paint's a bit more Crocodile looking.Overall very happy with my purchase! If you're looking for a similar model that looks more like the T-Rex from JP, then checkout the standing Papo Brown T-Rex; that one has a slightly darker brown and the overbite (and deep eye sockets) just like the film.

It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered a dinosaur. In my youth (a long, long time ago) I loved dinosaurs (and still do) but dinosaurs figurines that looked good were very expensive. Even as an adult (I still love dinosaurs) I couldn’t justify the price for a good figure. This one is top notch. Very realistic and well painted. I haven’t been able to see a thing wrong with it, only what’s right about it. The jaw is posable which adds to the look. Highly recommended.My only complaints concern the packaging. The t-Rex was in a plastic bag inside an amazon box with no padding. There’s a piece of cheap plastic in which the feet will fit but it’s not needed since the Rex will stand on his own. Papo, you really should put these in a retail box.

Hands down BEST quality dinosaur brand. The details in the paint, the movable jaw, the heavy duty material—so much to love! And the size is perfect for all ages to enjoy.

This t rex looks very realistic and also looks a lot like the Jurassic Park version. The quality is great. Highly recommend!

If you are like me and really want a nice dinosaur collectible statue to display on your desk, bookshelf, or really anywhere then this is perfect for you. I love collectibles and statues but until I found papo dinosaurs were either super expensive or not the best looking. This is a great middle ground for collections. I am proud to display this on my shelf with the rest of my collection without feeling like it’s a Jurassic park toy. I highly recommend it

I gave this to my dino-fanatic daughter. She loves it, but it started showing signs of wear immediately on all of the high-points. The paint rubs off under it's own weight. The moving jaw has survived in spite of a great deal of play from a little kid. It's the coolest looking dino out there, so it has that going for it, but was expensive and will probably need a re-paint soon.

Honestly love it more than the green version! (i also have that one)
