Received broken twice
The gate is made of metal and plastic, the plastic components are horrible in quality. I received the first gate broken in two places on the gates opening after a month of trying to fix it having parts sent to me they sent me a whole new gate which again arrived broken, this time at a hinge. I'm fed up I've returned the whole gate in hopes to find a better one.

Opened box - removed gate - immediately one panel fell off broken. Decided to set gate up anyways because I didnt need the full length. Took me multiple hours to get it to anchor into my wall and fell off within days. Lock stuck, door got very hard to open after only using it for a week. Had to tape the closing mechanism because it kept falling off. The pieces that attach it to the wall were plastic and broke immediately. The entire gate / design is a POS and I returned it.

Do not buy!!
The seller was great although the product did come in damaged, however . The gate always fell off the track I just wound up throwing it away. It was to flimsy to send back and it broke all to pieces within the first few days, not to mention my dog jumped on it and the poles bent. Was not meant for larger dogs obviously. Terrible product!

Effective hearth fence with gate
This fence is working well for our family. It was easy to install and the gate works well. The seller was quick to answer my questions. The only drawback is that it is not expandable and additional segments/extensions are not available. My husband is a handy man, so was able to quickly create what we needed to complete the fence.

Not trustworthy
This gate looks nice but falls apart very easily. My toddler has managed to get through it on numerous occasions. The door does not stay locked and the joints come apart. I ended up throwing it away and having to buy a completely different gate.

Well worth it
No assembly required！This gate looks great and sturdy even when it's not fastened to the wall! Great gate to protect your little one from the fire place! Highly recommend！

Poorly constructed and cheaply made
The gate was poorly constructed. The rails are metal, however the caps are plastic and cheap. The thing snapped and broke apart. Not worth the money. Dont waste you time or money as I did.

Breakable plastic.
Upon unwrapping, the joint broke immediately. This is definitely made of plastic and not worth 89$.
