Like the alternative, sleeker fit on this cap. Looks even better after a week of salt water and Caribbean sun have had a chance to distress and weather it a bit. If you don't want a brand-new, starchy cap that looks like you just walked out of the mall, I would recommend. Why this is a 'men's' cap I have no idea. The ladies occasionally want to flash their pinstripe pride, too; and not all of us like wearing powder pink caps (clashes with red hair...)

As a NYY fan, this was purchased with the intent of long-term wear. So far, while its colors have faded a little - over a long, long time - it has withstood near constant usage. Well-made. Not only would recommend the cap but have plans to purchase it again.

I'm happy with this hat - it has that worn, comfortable feel to it after putting it on and off just a few times over the course of the day today after receiving my order. I was worried about how a men's hat might fit [being a woman] but the bill/brim or whatever it's called is not too large as I've experienced with other baseball caps, and it sits comfortably on the ears with little need for adjustment. I enjoy the small details, including the team logo on the back near the adjustable strap. Considering the price of 47 brand hats in-store (I've worked retail), this is the same quality product for a much better price - definitely recommend! UPDATE 2023 (seven years later): had to add because this is STILL one of my favorite hats in my collection even after 7-8 years of frequent wear. Quality is exceptional. This hat has been to several countries, in oceans, on hot tropical beaches, in the mountains on very rainy hikes and it’s never once failed me. Perfectly molded to my head and a remarkable limited fading in what’s nearing a decade. I only buy 47 brand hats now after this tried and tested product.
