Great quality protection but be aware size might be a issue.
Resists heat very well. Real heavy duty construction. They help you grip utensils, pots, pans, etc very well. They offer much more protection than cloth oven mitts. Plus they are easier to clean. You can even wash your "hands" with them on. You can't do that with cloth mitts. One big drawback for guys is going to be the size. Their description says:"One Size fits Most" Design." I would say it's more like one size fits nearly all women and guys with medium or smaller hands. They didn't fit me and I usually wear a large or x-large. But all the women in the family love 'em. The size is going to be a deal breaker for lots of men.

Jury is still out on these
I really wanted to love these but I used them taking out my cast iron pan and had to put the pan down fast so I did not burn my hands?? I ended up putting them on and then putting large pot holders over them to work with the pan...kind of defeated the purpose of why I got them. They do give some heat protection don't get me wrong just be careful.

Can Use My Fingers
These are soo much nicer than the silicone gloves I had that were like mittens. You can actually use your fingers with these!Update Nov. 28, 2015I used these for the first time for deep frying our turkey for Thanksgiving. They worked perfectly to protect my hands while maneuvering the basket with the turkey in and out of the hot oil, and after the turkey was done, to pull the turkey out of the basket since some parts had stuck to the basket. The little nubs on them made them great for grabbing. I'll never go back to using the old silicone mittens again!

Oven gloves
These work ok. My friend has some other oven gloves that fit better, but this works for my needs when I BBQ and smoke and need to handle hot large items on the grill. Color is bright orange like the picture, which is easy to find in the drawer.

They work pretty well for things around 400º and lower
They work pretty well for things around 400º and lower. My biggest gripe is that they're too small to put on and take off easily. My hands are a little larger than average, but at 6' tall and 220 lbs, they're not huge by any means.

Ok but not as high temp as advertised, buyer beware
Not bad, makes gripping easier for sure but I could feel the heat coming through even at 350 degrees, not the 425 indicated. Silk on the fence with these, might return.

They're small!
I don't have large hands and I can barely get them into these gloves. Other then that they seem very well made and are effective.

If I'd seen a picture of what they looked like on someone hands, I wouldn't have bought them.
They work, but do they HAVE to be so huge??

Nice, but not for larger hands
Dexterity? Oh yes.Heat protection? Oh yes.Good grip?Easy-peasy to clean? Oh my, yes.Kinda small? You betcha.First, I'm an adult male. I have relatively small hands but even for me, these things are a perfect fit. If you use XL or possible L gloves, these may be too small for you. They're easy to put on, and are pretty comfy, but taking them of was a bit of a chore, so I dumped a wee bit of cornstarch in them to aide in removal, and it works pretty well..The grip is good, and the added dexterity compared to mitts is unparalleled. I tested the heat protection by removing a freshly-seasoned cast iron pan from the oven, which was in there at 400f for about an hour. I grabbed the side with one hand, and pressed the bottom onto the palm of the other hand and waited to feel the heat. after about 10 seconds, I barely felt warmth. So I guess these work pretty well.So pretty good for the price. If you're not a cheapskate like I am, I'll still have to suggest the original Ove glove. Though One thing these have over the Ove is how easy they are to clean.. you can slap them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. pretty sweet.

I'm disappointed how much heat gets through these gloves
I'm disappointed how much heat gets through these gloves; I'm not able to hold a pan out of a 350º oven for more than 10s before I need to put it down. They work roughly as well as the fabric ones that someone's grandma made for me, with the added benefit that these won't get wet. I wouldn't use them to pick up grates off my bbq.

Flexible and good grip
This is flexible and has a good grip unlike other similar products I've bought that don't have flexibility and makes it hard to pull the dish or baking tray out of the oven.
