I had brick pavers in my yard from the previous owners overgrown flower beds. I broke the pavers in half and they were able to fit in the bags so they were approximately 20 lbs per bag. They did well during a moderate breeze. There is still a lot of room left for sand. I suggest that you do your best NOT to drag them on pavement as the fabric doesn't seem super heavy duty. I am thinking about getting a second set for added weight.

I liked how sturdy they are. Held my conopy during wind guss. They are easy to fill, and they strapped down perfectly.

We live in the Baja Ca desert with four months a year of 100-112 f heat. I use sand bags to hold our sun umbrellas in place. Invariably, these typically thin vinyl cloth sand tear open within a few months from the extreme heat. Strangely, for some reason, most are dark colors that absorb the heat rather than reflecting it.HOWEVER, these heat resistant WHITE bags seem made of a very sturdy canvas like material that seems at least 100% stronger than any bags I’ve used in the past. So far, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these bags. But I won’t know for sure until winter. If I remember, I’ll check back here in five months or so.

bags are sturdy and well manufactured, but i order the 112 lb extra large bags as i needed them for craft shows. Needed each bag to be 25lbs so i figured with 112 lbs i'd have some extra room. the bags held a max of 18 lbs each of sand. I had to buy an additional set to meet requirements for craft shows.

ordered for my gazebo i use at festivals holds it down steady . does what it say on the tin i guess. not much else to report. seem sturdy and well sewn, seem like they will last a fair amount of time. not had them long to report longevity of use.
