I purchased this gas cap to replace my OEM cap on my 2007 Speed Triple when the locking mechanism failed. This cap was a direct bolt-on to my bike. This cap not only completes the all black look of my bike, but is also a perfectly functional accessory. the threads are solid, the anodizing is spot on. I would happily purchase this product again.Update 4/11/2012:Gas cap anodizing has since turned a lighter colored brown instead of black. It lasted ~9 months of casual riding. It might last you less if you ride a lot. To fix, I sprayed the cap with a few layers of Plasti Dip (google it). Cap still functions perfectly.

Cap fit better than I thought it would, and is sturdier too. Rubber gasket around mouth of gas tank opening stops fuel from lingering inbetween tank and bottom of Cap mount. I did paint mine after reading the discoloring issues others were having though, no complaints here.

Looks good, fits great.
