Q: Do these still last all day when you have a heavy let down each time you feed?

They last a long time but you do need to change them when they are wet to prevent infection. They last longer than disposables. I found in the beginning I went through two a day and one at night while my milk was sorting itself out. Once your milk supply is fully established you don’t leak as much, these days I find the set I use during the day is still dry after a day of use most of the time. If you have a heavy letdown I recommend getting a larger size.

Q: Can I use softner when washing these pads?

You can but it will negatively affect the absorbancy of the bamboo. Ideally you want no softener so theres no residue build up - like how you'd wash cloth nappies

Q: Can you dry these in a tumble dryer?

I have used only washing machine. The item dries very quick after it. I don’t use tumble dryer so I am unable to answer this question. 🙁

Q: How do you select the size?

I just guessed when I originally purchased them, but went bigger as more coverage is better. Large fits in a D cup bra nicely.
