Sperry Top-Sider A/O 2 Eye, Men's Boat Shoes

Lovely shoe.. Been wearing these since the 90's.. It's pretty much the only shoe I wear. Proper Sperry's last for ages (years). Cheaper imitations fail as quick as 6 months. Once they've been worn for a few weeks, they feel like comfortable slippers. Never had a shoe more comfortable. They are that good I only wear socks when it's cold. My advice - get two (or more) pairs and never wear a pair two days in a row. collectively, they last longer as the days 'breather' lets the shoe recover. The pair these are replacing are over 4 years old, been worn every other day and it's only that the sole is getting a little thin that demands the replacement. Watch out for the sizing! the shoes are labelled (in white inside the tongue) in US sizes. UK sizes are one down (UK10=US11) I normally a UK10/Wide, whereas in these I'm a US11/Medium.. Any decent shopping centre (eg: Bluewater) will have these in-store for you to try on. Go for the slightly snug fit as the shoe will stretch slightly to perfectly mould your feet. I find getting them wet/damp and wearing them for the day results in a perfect fit. (only advised in warm weather) Never had the stitching come apart Never had the sole split Never had the sole come away from the shoe

This is the second pair of Sperrys I've owned and it's great to come back to a brand and not find they've dropped their standards. Good thick leather which breaks in really nicely in a couple of days wear to give you shoes you won't want to take off, as well as a wardrobe staple.

Be very careful buying these boat shoes from Amazon. Sperry Topsiders have an enviable reputation for being tough boat shoes that last for years longer than their warranty… however if you buy them from Amazon and the warranty period is just over, then you lose your redress to a replacement…something that Sperry seem more willing to understand if you buy directly from them. If for whatever manufacturer reason your Sperry Topsider’s don’t measure up to the high standards that normally come with Sperrys, with Amazon it seems a problem.

I liked the fact that it was a good fit. The leather was not of the best quality.The soles likewise were not as good as the more expensive shoes of this brand. Cheap but good.

Good leather,well made,good price.Very comfortable good classic for casual wear.Especially if,as I do,you hate trainers.

Sperry Top-Siders are the original and remain the best boat shoe on the market. If you like your clothes to come with heritage, soul, and that authentic preppy vibe look no further. I’ve owned Sebagos and Timberlands but once you’ve made the jump you will never go back. I love that Paul Sperry was inspired by watching his Labrador running on a frozen lake and wondered why she wasn’t slipping. Next time you have a look at the soul of the shoe compare with your best friend’s paw pads.

The sizing on these shoes is way out. 1 pair far too large; ordered 1 size smaller and this was too small. Returned both pairs. A shame because they are of good quality and good value. I'm hoping the shoes of a different brand I've now ordered are "just right"!

Taille 42 J'ai reçu les chaussures rapidement, après déballage j'ai trouvé les chaussures très belle et couleurs conforme a l'image, je peux confirmé quel son très confortable et bien aux pieds, je fait du 42 qui correspond parfaitement. Rien a dire c'est pour moi parfait.
