This is a wonderful probiotic for children! My chiropractor recommended these for my 3yo who would not potty train, because he was having loose stools at least four times a day. His body was not digesting food particles, just passing them through. He was taking 6 per day for about 6 weeks, then I weaned him down to one per day over the next few weeks. Within the first week, his body started to be able to digest the food he ate, and he began to successfully potty train! Fast forward 10 months...he is completely potty trained! If I occasionally run out, we may have a relapse. We eat a whole foods, gluten free, limited dairy diet. If my son does happen to eat gluten, I just give him 2-3 tablets per day for a couple days.I really like the fact that they are tablets, and not powder. It's just so much easier to give my children tablets than to mix the powder into a smoothie or applesauce everyday. I also give them to my 6yo and 8yo., and they all like to take their probiotics. I have tasted them too. They have a good flavor. I eat fermented vegetables, which are naturally teeming with good bacteria (probiotics), and would like to transfer my children over to that form of probiotics, but until then, we'll be buying these!
