I really like this brand. The yellow container has a medium heat level and great flavor. Just apply it like salt on meat, fish, etc. The red container is a lot hotter and is a good choice to spice sausage or heat up jumbo without adding a lot of salt. Just tried the green low-sodium flavor. Not too hot, but a good choice for steak when you know you'll be using the salt shaker later anyway. Multi-packs are much cheaper than grocery store prices.

I've cooked with Slap ya mama before and everything comes out great. It's a perfect spice on it's own for a cajun taste, or it works mixed with other spices such as honey garlic or coffee rubs. It gives your food just enough kick to enjoy without leaving your mouth on fire. This is my all time favorite spice on the rack for grilling meat or making seafood or pasta dishes inside. The value of this 3 pack at 16 oz each is unbeatable. Three large containers for $17.99 gives you enough to use generously and share with a friend or family member.

This spice is good on just about everything. Love it, and will not be without it. Highly recommend for use in place of salt, as it contains just enough without being overly salty.

Hopefully just an accident ... but the product description clearly states three SIXTEEN ounce shakers .... we got three EIGHT ounce shakers delivered. Looking into this with Amazon.... grumble grumble..... UPDATE: The seller quickly responded and issued a full refund (thank you!). Saw another review or two that had 8-oz and 16-oz mixed orders .... so maybe a little less haste in the shipping and packing room? Dunno .... but that's why not a 5-star. I appreciated the fast satisfactory seller response to my wrong order. SLAP-YA-MAMA .... Been using it for YEARS and it's our go-to for all foods, even veggies. Recently started using the white-pepper blend version on Chicken and it's great too. Unlike many other Cajun spices, Slap-ya-Mama actually has flavor ... not just 'hot and salty' (cheap mixes of cayenne and salt ... nothing else). No reason to try any other Cajun spice blend if you ask us (including that T-brand that everyone seems to like ... boring!)

This is one of my most used seasonings!! It’s salty and spicy in one! Buying it on Amazon is a much better deal than purchasing it at Walmart! I definitely recommend!
