Well loved and feels great! I had to get a second one!
I am new to HEMA, so I can’t say I have anything to compare it to besides the basic loaners at my HEMA club. I saw the price and thought I would take a gamble so I could at least practice at home. This sword is amazing! HEMA instructors were very impressed. I even got a second one to spar with my battle buddy! This does not feel like a budget model at all. Lots of the people asked where I got it.I am Very happy. I highly recommend. I will make a more in-depth review on my youtube channel dragonaudiobooks. I made a custom handle rap and scabbard for it as well.

Feels nice..., looks nice..., because it us nice.
I bought 2... for valentine's day... Tho we started sparring with them right away, the swords were every bit as good as the positive reviews said they would be. Very happy with the purchase. Slightly too heavy for my Son of 11to react with the quickness, but with a little bit training it will fine. PREFECT for me and my Girlfriend, and other sparring buddie.

Abysmal quality controll
The blade out of box was great and in good shape, however after just two practice sessions the blade snapped in two and the interior of the blade looks like its made of sand showing it was not forged correctly. The blades fuller was also ground so deep that there was just a few millimeters of metal left. the only good thing about this feder was its price point as an introductory trainer but with this level of quality control I would advice just spending another 100$ on a trusted company

Great value for price
It doesn’t have the brand name recognition that others have, but you absolutely cannot beat the quality:price ratio. I have heard stories about blade breakage but I am not sure I believe them because mine holds up against all the feders that cost 3-4 times. For competition you may want a little stiffer blade, but as a trainer I think that this sword should be more common, as you cannot beat the price point/immediate delivery/and quality combination. I actually really love mine.

Decent but major engineering concern
So this has been a serviceable feder for me. I received it as a pass down from a club member who upgraded to a Regenyei and have been using it for a few months when the tang broke doing some pell work.Apparently the manufacturer's solution to prevent the guard from coming loose was to add langets down the tang and rivet it.They put a hole through the tang.I hesitate on how exactly to react. The sword has a good number of miles on it, so this is clearly not a catastrophic flaw. However, it does make me hesitate to recommend it for anything involving sparring with other people.Handling-wise it's a bit heavy. The blade itself is quite hefty, which I suppose does lend itself to durability... Except for. I don't know that I'd say run, but consider how much you really need the cheapest option that can be considered a sword.

Top tier HEMA sword
Love how bendy and flexible it is, feels like how a sword should and great for sparing

Good for the price
Got one two years ago, it's a decent practice feder for the price, so I got another one as a backup 4 months ago (my own wrapping in the picture). The backup failed after 3 uses, bent at the cross guard so likely a temper issue with the steel. You get what you pay for, so it's a roll of the dice. I still use the first one I got, works great but as others noted it is quite heavy compared to a VB or other feders.Would say worth it anyway, especially if you test when you receive so you can get a timely refund if necessary.

Excellent Blade
Good quality introduction blade to Federschwert. Blade is on the stiff side and a little heavier overall than other intro Feders I've tried. This makes it perfect for drill work. Very happy with it.
