1/4 Inch Quilting Sewing Tape Wash Away Tape, Each 22 Yard (3 Rolls)

This tape is a fantastic addition to my sewing accessories. It is of excellent quality and very versatile. I use it for small hemming projects, zigzag stitching, and installing zippers, especially around necklines. It offers great value for money. I purchased it after my sewing lessons to help with zipper installation, and I now use it regularly in all of my sewing projects.

Just used this to take up a pair of curtains. It's great in place of tacking so much quicker and just leave it in place. I don't think it's strong enough to hold without sewing over if you use a heavy fabric.

I wondered if this would be as good as the branded tape I use - which is much more costly. Well, I used it for the first time yesterday and I prefer this one. It's slightly narrower - which is an advantage for me, it's equally tacky and easy to remove the covering tape from. I believe it may also be thinner (not just narrower) because when I placed it between two thin cotton pieces and ironed it, there was no obvious placement mark - there is on the branded one. This probably doesn't matter where you use it and will wash it away, but it does mean there is no iron mark on the fabric where you aren't going to wash the item afterwards. For me this has proved to be an excellent choice and as it's an item I use often I shall buy another 3 in my next order.

this is great for helping hold seams or zips in place while preparing to sew. was recommended to this product and its good.
