This works!
I was desperate to stop the daily visitation of crows (over multiple weeks) in my backyard due to the irritating noise and unsightly deposits they left all over my newly stuccoed walls and patio, so I tried this unlikely solution of the "dead crow". It seems it's working! Two days have passed since a crow visitation occurred. I left the crow in the middle of the yard area and late in the afternoon about 4 arrived as usual. I noticed one circling it on the ground and others settled in the tree above making a lot of calling noises. Eventually they left and haven't returned since. That was Friday, today is Monday...if there are changes, I'll post again. So far, I couldn't be happier with this ourchase! Highly recommend. It's now 22 days later: The "dead crow" really works! The crows never returned, not once. The crow was initially attacked by a few animals in the night, once I noted that some feathers were dispersed around it. But otherwise, it's held up and more importantly, it drove the crows away within minutes after I deposited it in my back yard.

It Really Works
I've had it up for about a month and after having 5 to 10 crows show up several times a day, I haven't had even one. I have 4 places within about a 20 foot circle where I move it on a rotational basis as was suggested by a previous user. Don't know if that needs to be done, but it's simple enough to do in case it is one of the reasons it's so effective. Seems to be holding up fine in the weather and still looks as real as when I first bought it.

It worked!
We feed some feral cats at our place of business, and the local crows decided that they wanted some of that food, too. But they didn't want to go near the cats, so they would sit at a distance and start cawing and screeching at them incessantly, and it rapidly became quite annoying. I tried chasing them away and throwing rocks near them to scare them off, but they would simply laugh at me and come back for more.I started looking for alternatives and bought this crow. First off, this fake crow is remarkably realistic and very well constructed for the price. We've had it hanging outdoors for over 6 months, and it has held up exceptionally well. I half expected the thing to start dropping feathers after the first rain, but it still looks like the day we bought it.I hung it upside down on a bush near the cat food, and almost immediately three or four crows gathered on the power lines and started screeching at the dead crow. It was obvious that they were reacting to it in an agitated way, so I knew they fell for it. Within a few days the crows stopped coming around, and they haven't bothered us for six months now. They are still in the neighborhood, but they avoid our area like the plague. No more annoying crows. It worked!!!

Seems to work but inconsistent
Crows are super annoying. I put this up in my apartment balcony and it seems to work. You need to move it around and change style of hanging to convice them to stay gone.

Works like magic!
This mock dead crow has worked wonders! Crows were constantly using my birdbath to wash their food(yuck) and the little songbirds would stay away. As soon as I put the dead crow up next to the birdbath there was a commotion in the back with the crows. I had no idea how many there were! They squawked and fluttered away. I haven't seen them around since! I washed out the birdbath and now the bluebirds and cardinals are back! Thank you!

Not Working
I read the reviews before I purchased and was impressed and hopeful. Unfortunately the crow that is has been using my birdbath is still using it. I have tried moving the decoy but the crow is sadly not falling for this trick at all. The decoy its self seems well made and life like but for me was a waste of money.

This actually works!!!
We have been plagued by marauding pairs of crows raiding our feeders and bird baths. Not anymore. We hung this bird upside down a few feet away from our feeder and no more crows. This has worked for a couple weeks now. Fingers crossed.

WOW - great sleep next morning . Worked right away .
Installed this dead crow upside down on my upstairs balcony railing - I live in a small town near the beach with a lot of residential construction so Crows are around to scavenge. Our home sits up high so crows being crows f around in the morning on our area's roofs and Caw Caw Caw at Sunrise just to be the A holes they are ..... they also peck on my chimney's spark arrester just to make a point. You know they eat all the little birds nestlings and eggs in their nests. In the afternoon they f around again to let you know they are the boss. Not anymore - literally within hours of setting this up they were spooked ....... left immediately - did some fly by's and were very agitated. Then I set up a skeleton Cat from Halloween next to this DMF'r.
