Tongue scrapers work well, and wash well. They do not carry any scent and the silicone is not sharp. They can be used by kids.

These a good value for the price, only for the easy to use scraper that you can toss after a few uses, like when traveling. The scrapers are a bit too "soft" and flexible, so I'd stick with the metal scrapers if you want something to use that's much sturdier and for the longevity.

We have little ones and I wanted to improve our oral hygeine routine. Our 1 year old (almost 2) can safely and effectively use it. I have used the stainless steel ones before but find the bend in this is less irritating to my tongue. I noticed after 3 days of using before bed that my mouth just felt better. I also had a plugged ear that I was having a hard time getting relief from. Since ear, nose, throat are all connected, I noticed my ear was unplugging as well.Your tongue is very dry after a couple passes and I suggest being thorough like getting the sides of your tongue and as far back as you can cleanse without gagging.The only thing I think could improve is a case for each one since I bought 4 so we could all have our own.I don't think I could return to the stainless steel one or stop using this after consistantly waking up with little to no bad breath and not feeling like I'm offending our children when I give them morning hugs and kisses. I feel better about myself as a mom knowing I am increasing their oral health habits.
