Kärcher FJ6 Foam Cannon for Karcher Electric Pressure Washers K1-K5 - Great for Cleaning Vehicles, Cars, Motorcycles, Bikes and More

For use only with Karcher Electric Pressure Washers as it attaches with the proprietary Karcher wand connection. Works quite well for foaming a car when washing. You can adjust the amount of the mixture and adjust the direction of the spray path with the twist of a nozzle. Background on my primary use of the product - I much prefer an electric pressure washer to a gas as there is less noise and fumes plus they are typically more cost efficient to purchase and run. I use mine primarily for detailing my cars and some occasional cleaning of plastic siding on the house, so anything over 2000 PSI would be over kill for my purposes. The use of the electric Karcher also allows me to wash my cars in the garage with the door closed during the colder months and out of the sun during the summer months. Review of the actual product - In terms of this Foam Jet attachment, most Foam Canons are only made to use with gas pressure washers so this was a nice find for the electric Karcher models. In terms of operation and results, a proper Foam Canon such as MTM creates better foam but this is a close second having used both. Considering that MTM and others require the use of a gas pressure washer and these Foam Cannon's cost roughly twice as much as this Karcher attachment, this is a great product. It is also far superior than trying to use a Foam Sprayer that connects to a regular garden hose or the regular reservoir that is attached to most electric Karcher pressure washers. I purchased this model as it appeared to be better when compared to the smaller Karcher model 2.643-146.0 since it has a larger reservoir as well as the ability to change the mixture (density of foam) with the turn of a knob. The smaller version had many reviews that were also complimentary with most of the complaints centering around the size of the reservoir and this one again has a larger capacity. At the date of my purchase the model as reviewed is also only about $10 more than the smaller model. Does just what you want. Good adjustability and works quite well with a Karcher unit.

I'm very satisfied — but I took off one star. Why? They dropped the price just two weeks after I bought it. Damn, that annoys me.

Decided to give the foam cannon a try instead of just using the built in syphoning feature on my pressure washer... Big difference - much more foam - can apply faster and thicker - time to brush if needed then pressure rinse off... Allowed my washing of a 40' Motorcoach to be cut by a third in time and used less water (important for me as I have to truck my water to where I store the Motorcoach)... Worth a try if you are considering this over the syphon on the Pressure Washer.!

Really works as expected, I don't even use the special shampoo to create foam, just a regular one and creates great foam. Normally I help the foam with a hand wash but just because my car usually gets very dirty Fits perfect and really simple to use

Foam cannons make washing your car so much easier if they work right. This unit does work, but not the most effectively. I purchased this for use with my Kärcher K2 Entry pressure washer because I love washing my car and used to use a foam cannon at my old work with their pressure washer and it made life so much simpler with washing the car. This one works okay, but getting the mixture right in it is real finicky. I still haven’t figured out exactly what ratio works best in this for maximum foam. What I get is rather soapy, but quite watery and runs down the sides of the vehicle and unless you are fast, you may want to work in sections because the foam won’t stay put long. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only foam cannon you can get for a Kärcher gun unless you use an adapter. This is my only knock against Kärcher products in general because the attachments are pretty exclusive on a lot of their guns without an adapter. It is really lightweight and fits perfectly on Kärcher guns without leakage or looseness though, so it has that working for it. I think you’ll find it will do the job for what you need, but not the most effectively. However, without an adapter or a different hose and gun setup, you won’t have any other options really. So I’ll leave it at this - It isn’t the best and it isn’t the worst. Maybe if I figure out the best way to use it, I will update this.

I have a Karcher K2.93, so I ordered this unit because the item says fits K2-K5. Well, it doesn't. I went to Karcher to investigate the problem, and I discovered my model was NOT one of the compatible K2 models. So, check your model at Karcher first. Product is hard to fit onto lance for powerhose and once fitted is difficult to remove The problem is a yellow plastic part which needs to be removed with tools after use. The size doesn’t seem to be a correct match for the powerhose.

I was a little dubious but bought this unit from Amazon at a great price so worth the risk. Used it for the first time and I was hooked. To be honest you still need to sponge stubborn areas but did save a heap of time compared to the sponge and bucket method. Brilliant on the hard to clean wheels. Will get about 4 washes from the 6 litre container. Fits solidly to my Karcher 520M wand (would also suit a less powerful unit) Thoroughly recommend. The only thing I would like to see is recommendations for detergent.
