Flavorful

Start with the flavor of Full Sour Pickles then add the Kimchi Heat
The full sour pickles of my youth are a treasured memory. I have never been able to find a duplicate of the flavor of the full sour plucked straight from a genuine barrel. The product absolutely matches the rich and intense flavor remembered from my childhood THEN the Kimchi heat kicks in. The heat is not intense and serves to punctuate the fabulous slightly mushy full sour pickles. I will seriously strive to never have a different preparation of pickle after enjoying this product. About being mushy - full sours are mushy. That's how they are, full stop. You might get an initial hint of a crunch, but this fades quickly. I took that package's advice and drank the juice - fantastic. If I get indigestion later it will be a small price to pay for the flavor party I enjoyed. This product was over the top delicious.

Cucumber Kimchi
I love this brand. It never disappoints. As close to authentic as I’ve had.

Good but not great.
I wish I could say something better, but these basically just tasted like pickles to me. I've had Korean cucumber Kimchi before and this just didn't have the flavor I was hoping for. Now, don't get me wrong. This was not a bad product. It is fine for someone new to Kimchi or maybe children, but I was expecting a little more flavor.

Mushy cucumbers. No go.
I love cucumber kimchi. It's my favorite of the kimchi's. The cucumbers have to be crunchy though and that was not the case here. Solid flavor but mushy cucumbers. I bought three bags and couldn't give them away as soon as I explained the cucumbers were mushy. Finally a friend took them and she said she could get past the mushy cucumbers either. So, meh.

Yum!
I had a Korean fried whose mom would make me cucumber kimchi and I lived it. This is the best kimchi I’ve had since they left 5 years ago! Not over the top spicy but got a nice after burn. I could cook a huge rice cooker of rice and pour this kimchi over it and I would be in heaven!
