Purchased these mostly to muffle the high-frequency sound from all the leaf blowing at this time of year - which seems to 'ring' in my ears for hours (or days) afterward. These ear muffs are quite effective and canceling almost all outside noise. They are well-constructed, comfortable and best guess - seem to muffle about 90% of outside noise (some small amount of high frequency noise still sneaks through . . .). They fit well, but I'm guessing that they may build up moisture in the contact points around the ears, especially on hot days. A small price . . . to preserve your hearing.

I bought these for my 10 yo daughter to wear on the school bus to minimize distractions and noise so she doesn’t get so annoyed. They work very well for her and help her a lot according to her driver. I’m thinking about getting her a pair for home too so she can better ignore her siblings when they are trying to get her riled up! They fold down pretty flat (as flat as you could get ear protection, and the headband is adjustable so it will fit various sized heads. I tried them on and the fit me (adult) as well as my 10 year old. They don’t block out all sounds but it helps to reduce noise quite a bit. They are well made and I can see these lasting for many years. I would recommend these for this use and wish I could wear them when I drive my school bus ha :)

WFH but can’t stand distracting noises so I wear these all day. This is actually my second pair (just wanted to mix it up with a cuter style) but have had my original pair for years now (since covid) & they are still perfect. Very comfortable and fantastic for blocking out noise (I even bought ones to keep at my in-laws houses that we frequently visit for working from there). For reference - I am female with pretty small head. I also think they are a bit tighter at the get-go (but not uncomfortably so) but they also loosen up a bit to become more comfortable over time. Highly recommend.

These headphones are effective in noise reduction only, NOT in noise cancellation. I wear these when using my low sound leaf blower. I can still hear that whine, however, although it is muffled. The length adjustment of these headphones is very limited, just barely being long enough to fit my ears. Still, these headphones are comfortable, helpful and they are a good price.

I got these for mowing and using my leaf blower. I am very careful about protecting my hearing. At 78 years of age, I still do fine without hearing aids, and I hope to be able to hear well for a long time. I have some sound muffling ear muffs that I got at Home Depot years ago and I thought they did a decent job, After trying these, I am throwing my old ones away. The price is really a bargain. Do yourself a favor and protect your hearing. These are well worth the price.

My primary reasoning for buying these was to wear while using a back pack leaf blower. My initial impression was that they seemed tight but they were actually quite comfortable. I was also concerned that the stems on my safety glasses would prevent the ear muffs from sealing properly. This wasn't a problem and the seal was tight. I then tried them out in my basement woodworking area. Worked great for this purpose too. Could barely hear my dust collector or table saw.

Bought this item for an Autistic adult that is over 6 feet tall, But was an bit to tight on his ears and head, could not loosen it up. No way to adjust the size. Fits my head and did really work. Barely heard anything around me . great for shutting out the surrounding noise around you.

Appearance: The color pink is accurate to the picture shown. Size: Fits my adult head well, has expanders to fit height to size. I don’t feel like my head is being crushed as others have said, though I don’t have a wide head. Appearance wise, they look bigger than the ear defenders I typically see people wearing but I don’t mind. Ease of Use: They are very easy to fit back into a ball to carry. It takes a bit of pulling to get them to fit on the head because you have to expand the metal out of the cuffs. I was a bit surprised by the force needed but once I did it a few times it became easier. Feel: I can have these on my head all day long. The cuffs fit completely over my ears so they are extremely comfortable in that way. It does put pressure inside my ears as if I was on an airplane. It’s not majorly bothersome but takes a bit of getting used to. Sound: When I first put these over my ears, I actually started tearing up because everything got so quiet. All of the background noise just completely stopped. I can still hear people talking. I can hear sirens. I can hear overhead announcements. But it blocks out a lot of the music sounds that hurt as well as the general small repetitive noises that would make me angry like chewing or walking or people tapping, etc. Durability: I cannot say anything on this quite yet as I’ve only had them a few days, but so far they have been durable. I have taken them on a trip and they held up well with me tossing them around and dropping them. The cushion on the part that sits on my head is still in tact. The metal feels sturdy. The cushions on the ear muffs do not have any imperfections. And the pink part is a very hard plastic. Sleep quality: I actually have fallen asleep with these on and I didn’t wake up in pain at all. I was very comfortable the whole time. They are a bit bulky to get used to and lay on but once you figure out a good position, it feels nice. Overall I would recommend. This is my first pair of ear defenders so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really like these. Update 4 months later: I’m glad this review has been helpful so I’m adding this addition. I absolutely love these and am glad I picked this pair. I am now used to wearing them the majority of the day. The pressure in the ears is gone, the toughness of pulling the defenders to my size is gone and is now a smooth process. They are durable, pads are still cushiony with regular, frequent use. No scratches or scuffs. The pad on the headband is still sturdy and cushiony. They feel like an extension to me now that I’ve gotten used to them. Definitely recommend this brand.
