Amazing pens
These are the best pens ever. Dries fast, no smudges, and they just glide across the pages. They seem to write forever also.

Comfortable to hold and write with, and the color is beautiful.
Medium 0.7 MM is very comfortable to hold and write with, it's light weight, and has a great shade of ultramarine blue!I tried the micro (too thin for me) and the 1.0 Bold/Wide is good for signatures, but too bold for general writing (again, for me). After trying all three, I fell in love with the 0.7 Medium - great for general business writing, signing documents, and the pigment-based inks really bond to the page to protect against water (or spilled coffee).Don't be surprised if you lend it to someone to use, and they ask you where you got it (or try to keep it...)

Very very good: 4.9 stars
MAY 20, 2009 UPDATE TO REVIEWA strange thing happened after I wrote my original review: I became more satisfied with the Uniball pen that is the subject of this review. The blue color, which is my favorite color, seems darker, which is the way I like it. Now, it seems almost as dark as the line produced by the Pilot pen that I said I preferred. In addition, the Uniball pen is now skipping less. In other words, I now believe these two deficiencies are so minor that only the most critical pen users are likely to perceive them. Therefore, I am upgrading my assessment of this pen from 4 stars to 4.9 stars. I still prefer the Pilot pen, but I suspect that most people would enjoy using either one. And if you like a pen with the least amount of friction between the pen and the paper, this pen is probably great for you. The rubber grip on the Uniball pen is larger in diameter, so if you like a fat pen, try it.I bought the Uniball pen from Amazon before learning it is also available at my local Wal-Mart at a lower price, where the Pilot G-2 pen is also available.I should probably mention that I use the pens with the .7 mm line width because I find that the pens with a finer width, such as the .5 mm line width, tend to dig into the paper and write with a gritty feel and a less consistent line.ORIGINAL REVIEW OF THIS PEN (IN .7 MM LINE WIDTH)This pen is good, but unless the paper you are using is absorbent, the line that it produces is somewhat inconsistent, with occasional, very brief skips. And occasionally, the line has a lighter color in the middle of the line than at the edges. The color of the blue ink is not as dark as I like. This pen writes very easily, with almost no pressure required to produce a line. The rubber grip is comfortable. The metal clip is attractive and does a good job holding the pen in your shirt pocket.I prefer the Pilot G-2 pen in the .7 mm line width because the blue ink is darker, and the line is more consistent, with very little skipping. The Pilot pen requires slightly more pressure, but it also writes easily. The Pilot pen has a plastic clip that does not hold the pan securely in your shirt pocket. The Pilot pen has a rubber grip that I like even better than the rubber grip on the Uniball pen.

Smooth writer
They seem nice. Good flow, but I have not tried nor do I know how to see if they are "wash" proof.

My favorite pens
I work in an office where, like most offices, you get the standard lineup of cheap pens. After much searching, I found the Uni-Ball 207 series and since then this is all I buy. I buy them for my own use at work so that I always have the pen I want.I see the world of pens as falling into two camps - "wet" ink pens and "gummy" ink pens (I am sure these aren't correct terms). Gummy ink pens dry very fast, but are prone to smearing and don't write as smoothly. Wet ink pens write smoothly, but take a little while to dry. I personally prefer Wet ink pens, and that what this is.The pens are comfortable to use and the ink lasts a reasonably long time. The in cartridge insert can be replaced, but after 1-2 replacements, the pen housing will start to come apart and you will need to replace the whole thing.I'll continue ordering these pens, which can be hard to fine, for my daily use. I strongly recommend them.
