Arrived on time and well packaged, exactly as advertised, holds enough water for a complete cleaning if you use it regularly, fairly easy to refill and love that its not heavy at all or difficult to hold, and that it takes up virtually no space on the counter compared to other ones. It does use up the batteries in about two or three weeks, you'll notice the pressure isn't as strong as with fresh batteries, so I'd recommend buying rechargeable batteries along with it. It does take some getting used to but I got the hang of it on the first few uses, my gums did bleed a little the first few times too but I was already expecting that from the other reviews that mentioned it, you get used to it and it doesn't hurt, and it does an awesome job at removing bits and pieces that the toothbrush just doesn't and getting dental floss to reach all the way in the back just isn't as easy, it makes a big difference in our oral hygiene routine. Overall I'm very happy with it and wish I had bought it a long time ago, hope this helps if youre on the fence like I was!

I love the product. It works so well to get food particles that flossing can miss and I love the portability to take traveling and keep my counter less cluttered. I use it a couple times a day. I have a couple of root canals and “pockets” where food gets stuck and it’s so frustrating. Trying to floss it’s out sometimes leads to injury but the waterpik works instantly every time. They have a 1 year warranty. My waterpik wouldn’t turn on for some reason after 4 months. I got on their website via a link through my Amazon order info and chose the live chat option. Immediately, a rep responded and walked me through some trouble shooting steps. When those didn’t work, she filed a warranty claim and they’re sending me a new one! Took only a few minutes and minimal effort. They just asked a few questions on the product, did the trouble shooting and requested either a pdf of the order details or a screenshot. I sent it through the chat. Seriously, best customer service and it was so easy.

New 4-star review on 1/15/24 They finally both died after 3 years of initial use, careful cleaning and frequent battery changes. I still think it's a good product that does a great job at helping keep build-up at bay, together with brushing and flossing. I will buy a new one because of the travel convenience and the strong water pressure. Moral of the story: it will crap out and is not meant to last a lifetime, but it did what it was meant for and helped me restore healthier oral hygiene. ---------------------------------------- 5-start review I own two, one used twice/day at home and the other one once at work. The first one bought on Amazon, the other at a Walmart a few months later while on a trip when I realized I had forgotten my first one. This waterpik works great and is easy to use and travel with. I also gently and carefully clean my piks with q-tips and a little white vinegar to remove scale and build-up maybe twice a year. It opens up easily and closes just fine on both units I own. The strong pressure is great if your gums are healthy which means you really should floss too. The pik isn't an alternative to flossing but a complement. Ditto re brushing, Folks! I've dropped both of my units by accident and they still work so I think they're pretty sturdy. It does drain batteries but not as fast as I had anticipated. The tank isn't big but I just refill as needed. Not the end of the world to me.

Emergency! I got something stuck in tooth and my old waterpik died from my leaving it sitting in water. Ordered this early this am and just arrived. Relief. Quick service but even better, works best

Performs well flossing, and it’s convenient and compact for travel given it’s battery powered - no need to recharge, just the need to have extra batteries available. However, it failed after 2.5 years of relatively infrequent use (travel only), and despite periodic rinsing it with vinegar solution.

Battery powered water pik makes thorough cleaning of gum and between teeth easy. Fill the unit's water tank(slightly warm is pleasant), position your mouth over the sink, insert tip between almost completely closed lips, push power button (2 settings available - slow; faster), move tip around outside and inside of upper and lower teeth, allow water in your mouth out into sink, with unit inside your mouth. When you hear the motor accelerate (tank is empty) remove tip from your mouth. I use this each morning. With a very slight learning curve, it's very easy to use. Battery powered allows you to travel with it. Hot tip(I just discovered that). Remove water tank, THEN, remove battery cover, insert fresh batteries, reattach "door" to battery compartment, THEN reinstall water tank. Easiest way !! Unit is light, easy to handle(roughened surface prevents unit from slipping out of your hand. I've used the unit for approximately 3 months. Easy, fast, thorough cleaning. I received praise from my periodontist for how the water pik has cleaned out tartar and stuff that accumulates between my teeth. She also commented that my gums were becoming pink. Affordable price. Easy to use. Travel ready.

Been using it for almost a year, it does it job well and have not broken down on me.

Water squirted everywhere on first use! But now I know to keep my mouth only very slightly open it works very well, and very easy to refill, so I would recommend this product.
