First received my strap really quickly. Was impressed with first impression of taking the strap out of the packaging. On first use, the strap did fray in one part which worried me. However after getting in touch with the Gear America support team, who were really on the ball, I had a replacement strap sent out immediately after showing them the issue. They assured me this was clearly a possibly QC failure and thoroughly apologised. I received the replacement within a couple of days and it was been used thoroughly over the last few weeks in the snow. Happy to report that this strap works as expected and seems very capable. Also 5* for customer service.

As stated the quality of the strap looks good, sensible protection to ends and a a moveable protective sleeve for stress/abrasive areas. There was a problem with this order in as far as only one of the two items shipped - the eight foot strap was omitted. I have got a credit back from Amazon and will re-order. Cannot fault the return process, as all seems to be working well. Update -both the re-ordered straps arrived today, they are good quality, and seemingly the return process has worked as intended.

As tow straps go, this is definitely in the 'heavy duty beast' category, yet almost silky-soft to touch. Weighing in at a hefty 4kg, GearAmerica have confirmed you can double it up for normal towing, so as to stay within the UK road-legal tow rope limit of 4.5M. Not cheap, but upon receipt you'll appreciate the excellent quality/price. Don't know how they manage this price whilst still nobly contributing 10% of turnover to a child-cancer research hospital. An excellent product and a company that fully merits your support even on the incredible strength of the product alone. Their D-shackles are also similarly indestructable in contrast to those supplied with many other tow kits, based on reviews of buyers. You'll only buy these once but have a no-hassle lifetime guarantee. 2 years ago, my RWD saloon was towed 4 times by kind strangers (including 1 ambulance!) on a 5 mile trip in increasingly heavy snow. Now with a powerful Land Rover, I want to be able to return the favour should the occasion arise, inlcuding for our emergency services..

Amazing strap, really high quality and strong, if it was still available I’d buy more. It is a little long for all uses, but perfect for what it’s made as. Nothing else to say really, it’s never let me down

Awesome and affordable bit of kit . Used it a couple of times to pull my self and others out of situations . Does the job very well

Arrived early a whole day, opened and gasped wasnt expecting such a quality sturdy product, cant wait to use , brought on off chance due to snow, would highly recommend, reckon i could pull a tank with it!

The image on the listing says Made In The USA but its made in China. Also doesn't include oversized orange storage bag. Came with a tiny black bag that won't fit anything except the strap alone.

The rope itself looks great but it should have come as a 2 pack and only 1 arrived and didn't know till I took it from the bag and the bag split after just a few days. Now have to send back for a refund.....

es una marca de buena calidad, ya tenia una de 5 metros y bien probada para desatascar a 4x4 y aguantan bien los tirones, la funda negra de los extremos se desplaza para poder ajustarla, por ejemplo en el enganche de bola de remolque, esa funda no la lleva ninguna otra marca y es super practica. la eslinga junto con los grilletes sinteticos son un buen tanden

Muy reforzadas, las uso para remolcar o que me remolquen en las jeepeadas y no veo cuando me las termine, creo que nos enterrarán juntos……

Der Gurt sieht sehr, sehr stabil aus und ist bestens verarbeitet (gesäumte Kanten). Wirkt 'unreissbar' auf mich und die Länge ist optimal. Geht auch notfalls Abschleppen damit
