Installation: I always struggle to install items that are stretchy and slightly smaller than their intended resting places. I am a little slow in my tire installation, too. Perhaps I should have looked for an installation video before I attempted this. I think I spent 5-10 mins per rim. But I did get the strips on and centered.Hint: You need to hold the strip's valve hole directly over the rim's valve hole while you engage in your installation gymnastics. I used a golf tee and it worked perfectly because the tee is gentle on the strip and the rim and the tee's head prevents it from dropping through the rim.

I have been having a lot of trouble with the tires constantly going flat on my bike.My bike is about 25 years old and I use it mostly for commuting back and forth to work so I need it to be reliable.I finally looked at the rim rather than just pulling the tube to patch it and inspecting the tire inside for thorns. I saw that the tape to protect the tube from the spokes had worn through in several spots. I purchased this tape, installed inside the rims, it was good fit. Pretty tight, took about 10 minutes to get everything lined up properly.Now I have no more flats and I am on time to work daily and no more need to walk home with a giant hole in my tube.

I had never seen rim tape like this. I think it is a great idea though especially if somehow it is reusable, which I have not had to test yet. We will see how durable they are as time goes on. When installing, line up the valve hole and stick something through the tape and the hole so the holes stay lined up. I am worried about durability, but we will see how it goes! Great idea instead of actual tape if they do turn out to be reusable.

I purchased it and didn't install it for several months. It was on my shelf so I'd have it. I recently replaced some worn out tires and took the opportunity to install this rim tape. I used a spent plastic gift card to ease the tape up and over the rim edge - it was tight on my 27" rim, but appropriately tight. A thin tire lever would probably have worked just as well - but I only had thick levers. The bright red band looks sharp sitting inside the rim. Hopefully, I'll rarely see it - but I know it'll look good if I do.

Been using this on 2 wheelsets. Worksas it should.Tip: to align the hole where the valve goes in, get an old valve and use that as the place holder otherwise the hole will move around as you stretch it.

Easy to install, but band had two different textures on the sides. The side that had the checker pattern on it I figured went over the spoke nuts and the slick side toward the tube, but there were no instruction as to which side went on the rim. This small instructional would have been appreciated.

Fit like a dream onto Shimano OEM wheels, cover all the nibs completely, stick well enough and not too sticky to impede ease of installation. Stretched without breaking.

This worked great for me! I'm a lady just trying to fix my bike and this was easy to put on to help protect from pesky,future flats in the future. Great Product!
