Good Start, Use More Than Directed
1 tsp per 8 oz is too weak. Somewhere between 2 to 3 tsp is the right amount, depending on your taste. I use a tbps (3 tsp) instead and it’s right for me. Broth is a good base but tastes like it’s missing something. Here’s what I’ve found that works good for a restaurant quality single serving bowl of pho:4 cups water4 tbps Vietnamese Pho broth1 tbps Worcestershire sauce1 tbps sesame oil1/2 tsp onion powderThen I use hoisin and siracha to taste (a few tbps of each). Sometimes I put sczchuan sauce in it if I feel like it, not true authentic flavor but I like it. Then use all the normal bean sprout, cilantro and jalapeno fixings. Good stuff

Use 2 teaspoons not 1!!
Just use 2 teaspoons instead of on. Taste just like the restaurant. No more 17.00 pho'. Ready breezy from home. The best ever

Gets you close to the real thing
I eat a lot of pho. I also make my own pho broth from scratch. However, sometimes I'm wanting something quicker and easier to make, so I thought I'd give this a try. On first try, it didn't really compare to the real thing. The flavor was a bit flat. The biggest thing I thought it was missing was richness from the natural beef juices. I started to experiment a bit and over time I found a way to make it better for me. First thing I did was added a bit of sesame oil, which brought back some of the feel of pho. And then (and I know this really is such a non-Vietnamese thing to do) is added a drop or two of Worcestershire sauce, which gave the sauce a bit of the richness in flavor that I felt it was lacking. Adding these two things in very little quantities gives you a really good broth, from which you can add all the other ingredients and sauces. Overall, I highly recommend this and will buy it again.

Amazing, GF, and tastes very similar to restaurant pho
This is my favorite instant pho, and I've tried many. I am gluten-free and this one is too, which is awesome. It tastes so similar to restaurant pho so makes for a quick and easy weeknight meal. I grab the GF chicken meatballs from the big bulk retailer that starts with a "C" when they're on sale, add in some of the GF millet/ brown rice noodles cooked separately, and then add halved meatballs to simmering broth with whatever add ins I have on hand like thinly sliced mushrooms, jalapenos, watercress, Bok choy, etc., and finish with some frozen peas and fresh sprouts, chives or green onions, and/or dried chives if in a pinch. It's so good! I always add grassfed beef gelatin early on when the broth is still cold to make it more nutritious and pho-like. It's great with thinly sliced beef or chicken too but I'm more likely to use that on a weekend rather than for a quick weekday meal. I make at least once per month in the cooler months. It's extra delish with some gochujang in my bowl too. My only complaint is that it's the slightest bit too sweet -- not overly, but just a bit, so I cut the sweetness with some extra spice (jalapenos and gochujang) and then it's perfect.

Delicious 😋
Buy it! I was tired of paying a lot of money for pho, so I decided to give this a try. This is amazing. Tastes just the like restaurants!

*very mild flavor. you need to use a lot if you're expecting to make a nice big bowl of pho
Its alright but barely. the flavor is too mild, the can is not filled to the brim, and you need to use a lot if you want a nice big bowl of pho. but if you're just buying this to get some emergency pho for when your sick or its a rainy day, then this is fine.

Great taste and very versatile
Fantastic authentic taste. I make pho all the time now. Also if you want a really nice surprise try mixing a teaspoon of the dry mix into a cup of your favorite cooking oil and slather it on chicken and throw it into your air fryer. Absolutely delicious!
