Very good tool. Is hollow, so not too heavy, but has sufficient weight to crush pills well. Fits well in my hands (which are small) and my other half, who has very large hands.Cleans easily. Good quality.

This is a great product - solid , seamless easy to hold with rounded end that fits the hand.If a second one or even a better first one is needed - this is a great choice !

I use this with my ordinary small ceramic mortar -- the little ceramic pestle got lost long ago. It works perfectly, takes up minimal space in the gadget drawer, and cleans in a flash so no cracks or taste transfer from one grind to another. It's also big enough to work with. Over time I'll find more uses for it -- it would probably ream a lemon almost as well as a dedicated tool. Great addition to your kitchen drawer.

Very nice weight to this. I think that some things that we may wish to grind are better in something granite because the texture of the bowl will actually tear things up. However, this is a great pestle. I crushed some walnuts just fine nuts. It comes in a cute little bag for storage. I would recommend this. It is also very easy to clean because it is stainless steel. I like that I needn't worry about breaking it.

I wanted a pestle to grind cat meds into a powder, so cats cannot detect there’s anything else in their bowl, other than cat food. Works great, easy to clean, no residue left behind. Happy with purchase!!

I love to use Marble Mortars and Pestles to grind seeds and spices for cooking. As anyone who has used a marble pestle knows, they tend to roll off counter tops and smash on tile floors. This stainless steel pestle can roll off the counter and not break. Because it is light weight, it doesn't damage the floor either. Now I can use my large mortar again.

This is a nice heavy duty pestle, and I really like that you can use either end for crushing. I made no-bake peanut butter bars and used the large end for smashing graham crackers. The next day I used the small end for smashing mint leaves for my mojito. And stainless steel means it cleans up well, too.
