3M worktunes Connect Wireless hearing protector + Safety Eyewear

I’ve used several peltor/3m products for work and the range as I take my hearing very seriously since I have had fairly bad tinnitus for a long time it’s extremly unpleasant without hearing protection at even just 80-90db ambient. That being said I’m a welder and fabricator and use these everyday and I couldn’t be happier with them by far the best Bluetooth headphones for the money it’s just a plus in my opinion that they’re also hearing protection so I can use them at work. Bluetooth range isn’t anything to write home about but as long as you’re in the same open space as your phone within 30ft or so it doesn’t effect them at all. But if you do go out of range if your phone is for some reason not in your pocket as soon as you’re in range they connect again. Same goes for when you turn them on if your phone has paired with them before if connects immediately. I’d get the gel ear cups that I have on other sets of non Bluetooth I have but honestly the gel cups get way too sweaty and are fragile, and I definitely use and abuse these worktunes and they hold up incredibly well for what I put them through everyday battery holds up great too no matter what a charge lasts for a bit over a week of somewhat occasional use and a few days of non stop all day use. Needless to say I just ordered a second pair to keep at home and travel with. Would recommend to anyone blue collar or not, looking for headphones or ear pro especially as a gift!

I was a little skeptical that a product at this price would make good on its promise to significantly reduce the noise from my JD riding lawn mower AND allow me to listen to my iPhone's music via bluetooth AND have good enough sound quality that I would actually WANT to listen to my favorite 80's tunes while mowing my field. But it delivered on all levels. Setup was just about the easiest of any bluetooth device I've ever dealt with. It takes me 2.5 - 3 hours to mow my field and the tunes were still rocking strong at the end of it so while I don't know how long the battery will last it certainly lasts long enough for me! My ears sweated a lot LESS than I expected and the headphones were comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend for hearing protection, comfort, ease-of-use, and sound quality.

These "Micky-Mouse" headphone and sound suppression are probably the best I've ever had and I've had several over the past 20 odd years. I bought them to wear when I'm working in my wood shop. I have several pieces of power equipment that are very loud and in the sound range that can be damaging to my already damaged hearing. I wear hearing aids and have always removed them before even going into the shop. Now with these 3M WorkTunes not only do I greatly reduce the level of noise I would otherwise hear but, I'm also able to listen to my favorite music. Bottom line, these 3M Work Tunes are well worth the purchase price. I'd almost be tempted to purchase another pair to use should the pair I have ever quit.

Hearing protection seems ok with these. The main reason I went with this product instead of the competition is the bluetooth capability, which turned out to be horrible. I didn't want to have my headphones tethered with a cable, so I really wanted bluetooth. These protectors have about a two-foot bluetooth range, and that's assuming your bluetooth device isn't in a pocket. I would recommend this product as ear protection, but not for the extra cost of bluetooth features.

I got these to wear while doing landscaping work. They do a great job. I understand they don't have active noise cancellation, but they don't need it. My customers have learned that they need to get my attention visually when I'm wearing these even if they yell. The only problem I had was that they wouldn't pair with my phone, but it is an older cellphone and I don't put the blame on the headphones. I bought a cable from Amazon that looks like a phone type bungie cord and problem solved. I can be wearing these for 5 hours of brush-cutting and not get uncomfortable. The safety glasses lasted a week before the silicone nose pad fell out and got lost, but they were basically a freebee with the headphones so I'm not knocking off anything for that.

I bought the hearing protector for use while mowing and bush-hogging. It is comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time, and the battery has never quit before my work is done. I do wish that the unit had an individual volume control, and even an internal amp that would bring the volume of the music up a little.

Great sound cancellation. Buying this set with the safety glasses was cheaper than buying the headphones by themselves. Comfortable when I first put them on but start hitting my ears after an hour or so. The Power and Connection notifications are way too loud. They play at full volume no matter what you have the volume set to.

Great Earmuffs, but the headband nakes them come up short on my head. I changed them out with the headband of a passive Earmuff , like Peltor Optime. I ha d to get a headband wrap ( USTS) to hold the wire and changed out the ear cushions for Hy80 gel ear cushions, and now it looks and feels great on my ears. Plus added some Sherpa fleece for extra long wearing comfort.
