Avondale Manor 7-Piece Ella Pinch Pleat Comforter Set,Reversible King Bedding, Grey

Just got this in and some of the reviews said theirs was wrinkled and took a long time to get them out. The packaging was done nice and tight so that when I opened it up (I am washing brand new king size sheets that I'll also be leaving a review I decided I better put the comforter on the bed while the new sheets are being washed and dried) but didn't have too. It all looks so great. Hangs over the sides and foot of the bed great. We have an iSerta adjustable king frame (two frames) so we're not able to use the bed skirt that came with it but I'm either going to figure out how I can use it modified or find it in an elastic style like my current white one. I can leave the white one for now as it matches the bedding great! Can't wait to sleep tonight. If I find my happiness changes I will update my review. (By the way, I'm a HUGE online shopper and should do a better job leaving reviews - almost never do. BUT this product really impressed me! We are Prime members so 2 days and I have my new bedroom look!

I got this set today at lunch & the first thing I did was lay it out on my bed to check for rips, tears, strings, or stains. I did not find any of that!! Of course the pillows were a little flat but that is to be expected with the tight packaging. I tossed them in the washer, washed on cold and very delicate cycle. After they came out of the dryer, fluffy as ever!! The chevron side is grey and cream colored *NOT WHITE* Im washing the comforter as I type this review. I will give an update after it dries to see how well it ends up. It is not very heavy at all, which doesnt bother me bc I like to stay cool at night. Im giving it 4 stars bc the comforter does feel a little cheap but is still nice. **sorry the photos have a red tint, its my camera*

Very beautiful, soft, and warm. The color is lighter than shown in the picture. It is more of a light gray. That was a bit disappointing. And it is also a lot shorter than shown. In order to get it to look as advertised in the photo, the top half (literally) of the bed is uncovered. Since it does not include sheets, I would suggest ordering a size larger than what your bed actually is.

I really hate this comforter. I bought it for a gift and had it sent right to the recipient. When I finally saw it I was so embarrassed. She graciously decided not to return it, even though I wanted to return the product. The comforter has lumpy, sparse fill in it and is made out of a papery material. It did not even feel like fabric. Because it has such a little amount of fill, the tufting on the side that shows in the picture is flat and the wrinkles won't come out. The only way we could use it was to have the zig zag pattern up, which is not what we wanted. There is no way that this comforter is a $249 value as advertised. I'm shocked that Amazon has such a horrible product on their site. I've always had great products from Amazon but this one is terrible. I honestly think they should refund us all or part of the money so I can give it to my daughter, who received it, and buy her something else. (I'm sure they would refund, but, as I said, she didn't want to make me feel badly by returning it.)I only hope other people see this and don't buy it. Wish I had read all the bad reviews instead of just looking at the average review!!!!

So I love this comforter but every time I stuck it in the dryer, it would have little burn marks on the edge. It didn't happen to anything else so it wasn't the dryer. I guess it's just made of a material that couldn't handle heat. I just stopped washing it since it just went on top of the bed. Really warm and comfy and looked great so still gave it 4 stars

I ordered this comforter a few weeks ago and it was back ordered, but not for too long. I just relieved it today and it is a little lighter gray than the picture, but that's a deal breaker, but the accent pillows and the reverse of the comforter are a totally different color than the picture shows. It shows white and a deep gray chevron pattern, what I received is cream and light gray (lighter than the front) chevron pattern. Also the accent pillows show 2 equally (with the comforter) dark gray pillows with even darker little squares in a pattern, what I received has cream squares, and the other accent pillow matches the comforter, pleated on the front, light gray and cream chevron on the back. I have no cream in my bedroom, so I'm not thrilled with the cream color or the lightness of the gray in the chevron. I'm thinking now I should have ordered the charcoal, but it was the same price and no accent pillows. I also figured this one would be plenty dark.

I have had this set for 2 months now, and I am still as in love with it today as I was 2 months ago. I was worried it would feel cheap based on some reviews, but there really isn't a cheap feel to it. It's super soft and fit our king sized bed perfectly. I have washed it twice and the filling held up fine. It is VERY warm though, and it can be a little suffocating on these hot Texas summer nights. I am really excited to use it in the winter though, because I know it'll keep me and my husband warm. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. One of my favorite purchases from Amazon!

I bought this same set in a queen size and then decided I wanted it to hang over the sides further so ordered it in a king. The king is not as dark grey as the queen comforter but I can live with that. I have to say, the comforter felt like it had been washed (perhaps a return from another customer?) but that didn't really bother me...just softened it up.
