I am sold.
I used to love wearing makeup through the first half of my twenties. As I hit my mid twenties, I didn't wear it as much. I switched over to Bare Minerals which lasted longer than liquid makeup and was kinder to my skin. As I hit my 30s, I just stopped wearing makeup all together but not for any particular reason at all. I think laziness. Just kidding. Actually, it's because I am so overwhelmed with all of my commitments (single parent, disabled child, work, college, etc. all the excuses). When I hit 35, I made myself a promise to fix myself up more often and I am trying! :)My skin HATES liquid foundation these days. I itch and scratch and it's horrible! I am so uncomfortable with it. I did start using Lancome's mineral makeup (which I love but don't use often) but I wanted something a little less powdery for daily wear. I learned about BB cream online. I think one of the beauty bloggers or something. Also, I am a fan of K-Dramas and maybe I have this unrealistic expectation that my skin will look amazing like theirs. Kidding. Maybe not....So, of course, my quest to find a perfect BB cream started. I tried L'oreals BB and that was AWFUL. It went on grayish and when it "settled", it looked ok but I itched like liquid foundation and I threw that to the side. I then found Tarte's BB cream and I am so glad I did. I love how little it takes to cover my face. I am extremely fair with red undertones and I ordered the Fair shade. I love how lightweight it is on my skin, NO ITCHING or IRRITATION AT ALL!, and most of all, I love how even my skin looks without looking made up. I just look like I have decent skin. Let me add, I have pocks on my cheeks due to acne along with large pores (this aging process bites!) and this doesn't cover the flaws but it does minimize the look of both the scars and pores. I am starting to get lines by my eyes and again, this does not draw any attention to the lines. If I need to build on this, I can. If I have plans after work, I can easily have a flawless look by using Lancome's translucent mineral powder over it and I am very happy with how I look!I just received a bottle of MISSHA's perfect cover BB cream which is much heavier than Tarte's. So far, Tarte is the winner. I plan to try Skin79 and another one of MISSHA's soon! Once I do, I will update my review!

Natural looking coverage, light formula, SPF
I'm a full time model here in LA, and I discovered this creme when a make up artist used it on me during a shoot. I was amazed by the texture and how well the color blended! And trust me, my skin is dry and I am paler then a vampire so finding the right creme is hard. (Usually any foundation or creme makes me look orange even in the lightest shade.)Best of all, it doesn't cover my freckles! It's just enough to feel like I have something on, but not so much that my freckles disappear. It also has SPF which my ginger self definitely can always use more of. It's not cakey either! Highly recommended for porcelain skinned people. :)

Amazing.
I love this stuff. I have sensitive skin which is acne prone, and this does a great job giving a little coverage without irritating me. I also use a prescription anti-acne cream in the morning, and this is one of the only moisturizers I've found which can be applied over the acne cream without causing a weird build up of gunk on my skin. It applies REALLY easily. I can easily smooth it over while waiting at a red light on my way to work if it's been a hectic morning. But it also allows for sufficient coverage for those days when I don't feel like wearing anything else. It makes my skin pretty. And unless I have a big glaring zit on my face, I usually don't bother. Most tinted moisturizers/ BB creams only have 3 color categories (Light, Medium, and Dark), whereas this one has a couple more. So you should be a little more discerning about which color you get. For instance, I'm the lightest option in a lot of product lines, but this one I'm somewhere in between Fair and Light. Note that this Fair option is very very light. My red-head brother could probably do Fair year-round, but I usually have to step up to Light during the summer or if I get a little tan.

Best foundation/primer I have ever used
I bought a tube of this product while shopping at Sephora and absolutely love it. Feels like silk when blending, blends very well, and is durable and light. The 1oz tube lasted me 10 months! Just got myself a second tube and will keep buying as long as it is available. Highly recommended.I use this primarily as a foundation, on top of a daily moisturizer. The product is labeled as a primer, and though it may not be fit for a heavier concealer to cover blemishes, it definitely does the job for evening out skin tone and makes the face appear smoother. Best of all, it is so light you can hardly tell you are wearing make up at all.If you aren't sure about this product, I would highly recommend sampling it out at a Sephora or Ulta store. It is a must have!

Silky Velvety Skin
I've tried numerous drugstore BB creams and there truly is a difference in quality when you spring for tarte's. I'm not a fan of any other Tarte product besides this one. I just mix some on my hand with NARS Illuminator in Copacabana and apply with real Techniques Foundation Brush in areas where I need coverage. It covers suprisingly well for such a lightweight formula, I have some light acne scarring and this makes covering it a breeze. Haven't had any problems with breakouts since using this a month ago either, fyi I have pretty sensitive normal/dry skin. If there's anyone I wouldn't recommend this to- women with pink/red undertones because this could make you look a bit red especially mixed with the illuminator since they both have PINK UNDERTONES. :)
